If I could give this BLOODCLART excuse of a place a -100 stars I would.
Customer service is DISGUSTING, I ordered and the man refused to give me an extra portion of meat plantain to my dish when I offered to pay extra being very difficult and Extremely rude and to top it off the idiot gave me my change in 5ps (atleast £2 worth) claiming he had no change when I complained, I was so baffled by how rude he was treating me when I had done nothing to deserve it. The time I had been before the service was a shambles too they barely pay attention to customers and chat to each other behind the counter when serving showing very little respect to the customer and ignoring them when you walk in they basicly ignore you until you have to make noise to be seen and then they come like ‘what you want!?’ Not a hello or nothing or even a smile.
I would NEVERRR give my money to such a horrible business, it’s clearly seen as they’d just make food and sell it rather than an actual service. The food portions are beyond a joke, they give you a whole container of jellof and one small measly over cooked peice of meat that’s tough enough to break your teeth and the call that a meal! Absolute joke, DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE unless your Nigerian they seem to only be good to their own people. Disgusting place and the food they have the cheek to charge TEEF for looks like it’s been sat round for months! nasty food nasty service and inside needs a deep clean...
Read more14 Sept 2024 btw 1.30 & 2.00. I ordered the ayamashe. Was always top notch here. Not anymore. What happened to the succulent assorted meats? What I got was 2 pieces of chewy beef. The sauce was tasty though. However… I was served by the most discourteous person I have ever come across! Customer service skills: 0/10 Interpersonal skills: 0/10 No hello or thank you. Started off with an agressive ‘what do you want? Like I wasn’t there to spend MY money that pays his meagre minimum wage salary. While he was serving the food, another customer walked in. He proceeded to greet him & have a whole conversation with him. Then I asked to pay by card, he walked off without a word to me to get the card reader in another room & was away for ages. Eventually came back, dumped the reader on the counter and walked off again into a back room, again, without a word to me😵💫. I paid, ensured it was ‘Approved’ , and said thank you aloud & how the server lacked customer service skills equally aloud so his ‘buddy’ could hear & left. A simple ‘hello, what can I get you today?; I’ll just get the card reader; here you go; that will be £xxx please’. Wait for the transaction to go through, hand me my receipt & say ‘thank you’ ?! 🤦🏾♀️How complicated is...
Read moreI like eating at Tomi's kitchen. I have been eating food since before he actually opened this place like this. I have seen this business grow and expand to what it is now and I have to say, their food does not disappoint. I am not west African but I do love jollof rice. That's what I usually get along with plantains and beef. The meat is on point, the rice is usually very nice the only criticism I have is that the customer service can be improved. Depending on who you find there, they can be rude and even tell you that the meal only comes with 1 piece of meat which is absolutely ridiculous. If you are lucky and find the original team(Tomi etc), these guys are still the same for the past years. They are polite, humble and always ready to deal with you and any complaints quickly and favourably. Nonetheless, the food here for me, has the best...
