Venezia Cafe — Restaurant in London

Feels a bit like a scam. No signs anywhere mentioning the minimum card payment was £5, and she waits until AFTER she’s made the drink to tell you the minimum card spend is £5. Thus making you feel inclined to buy more, which I find is unfair. Went in only wanting a tea, and ended up having to spend money on 2 cakes just to reach the threshold. During my 30 mins stay I have seen it happen to 3 people, keep in mind there was only 4 people in total. Should be definitely stated in the cafe, very bad experience. Would just go elsewhere...

Walked in with a friend around 4pm, asked for 2 coffees and was told they would be closing shortly by the two men behind the counter. But this is where the 5 stars come in, the young man was so good about it, we had a barter about times and a little joke and were served 2 hot coffees! Would come back again, be abit earlier! Noted good selection of food, seemed nice and clean. Promise we will bring our cloths next time to clean...

Lovely little family owned cafe, with excellent customer service. I came in just before closing time (I didn't realise the time) and they still insisted I sit in for the full English breakfast I ordered so that I could enjoy it hot (I had offered to take it away).
