I have never had as ignorant customer service from such a big restaurant chain as this one.
This particular branch’s staff service attitude was rather poor!
First: We waked into the branch with the waitress ignoring us and we took it as she was busy on her screen at the reception and we waited a while before she responded ,’give me a minute’
Then we were led to the end of restaurant and given a table. Next to the staff room.
Food were ordered, and we were served, through out our dinner, the staffs were walking in and out of the staff room and their door were left to close slowly , the room had staff coats, multiple pairs of shoes right at the front and all sorts like a closet.
The first few times I thought it was staff room and it’s inevitable for staff go in ocassionaly to access the office,
I have only had less than an hour dinner and have been made to feel like I sat next to a shoe shelf not a restaurant. The staff was accessing it almost every 5 mins and I have politely raise the point and the staff I spoke to (who was the one going in and out of it ) brushed me off unapologetically saying, ‘we can’t do anything , it’s the office you know?’
When we checked out, I again suggested to another staff that perhaps when there’s so many available tables in the rather quiet night , future diners can be directed other tables , his response was ‘I’m not the one who sat you here so I’m not responsible ‘
When we were walking out, the lady who directed us was ‘informed’ by her colleague and was in obvious displease and had instead said to us ,’you could have tell us to change the table’
I’d have done that if I knew they will keep opening their staff room with shoes and coats constantly. And I have voiced my concern but brushed off and ignored.
The unapologetic, ignorant attitude was appalling in service standard,
Having to be seated in a odd location wasn’t my big issue but the staff’s service attitude
Was very disappointing...
Read moreIt was the worse wagamama I ever been, staff too relaxed, eating Nandos food on table next to customers, nobody comes to take an order .....after order was taken she forgot everything and came back few min later again, this time with a pen ! food menu has changed and mostly Vegan food - very limited choice. Food was horrible, we took a few dishes and no one was happy, ramen was so spicy, but it is not even mentioned on the menu that it will be impossible to eat. Duck and rice was even worse. Hardly any meat with burnt onion and unwashed spring onion, I could taste sand in my mouth - no flavour what so ever. ...just horrible burnt mess in the bowl. Drink Mojito only had ginger and water - totally tastless ..... Ice cream (what used to be my favourite) was so hard and after tasting, we realised that it was milk free - thats why it did not taste like ice cream anymore - its frozen soya or something like that. Chocolate cake was not regular cake, but some sticky mix of chemical substance that looked like a black substance. Horrible food......no one from staff even cared about us - no one asked us about our meal - staff was sitting eating normal food from nandos next to us and we regret that we came here. There is also service charge 12% for service that we didnt have - for taking order 2 times and bringing a plate I have to pay 12%??? Restaurant was empty, staff didnt care about us at all.
Never again will I go to this horrible place to waste my £80, not worth it with such a good variety foods around this area. We all felt, yuck, after that meal......!!...
Read moreI recently visited Wagamama at Fulham Broadway and wanted to share my experience. I tried the Grilled Chicken Ramen and the Mushroom Pho Ramen, along with some bao buns on the side. The food was beautifully presented colourful, fresh, and clearly prepared with care.
Coming from India, I naturally lean toward bold, spicy flavours, so the overall taste felt quite mild for me. The Mushroom Pho stood out more and was my personal favourite, with a comforting broth and nice textures. Still, the flavours were subtle compared to what I usually enjoy, and i have had similar dishes elsewhere that suited my palate a bit better, sometimes at a more affordable price.
What really made the experience worthwhile was the atmosphere and the staff. Everyone was so friendly and attentive, and their hospitality added real value to the meal. The setting was relaxed and welcoming, which made me enjoy the time even more despite the food not matching my usual spice preference.
If you enjoy lighter, more delicate flavours, you might like it even more than I did. For me, the overall experience was positive, thanks to the great service and the warm environment. A big thanks to the team at Wagamama Fulham Broadway for their...
