The food was great, service good, Atmosphere good. The only issue I have is that when paying my bill the service charge set at 12.5% was automatically added to my bill ! Even tho supposed to be optional ! I didn't want to make a fuss about it there and then due to the company I was with but I did phone PHO ( Fulham Broadway branch ) the person I spoke with was polite and listened to my concern... he explained to me that the service charge is automatically added to all customers bill but is optional ! I explained it's not really optional because the extra charge is automatically applied to everybody's bill and the only way to avoid paying this extra 12.5% is that i would have to verbally ask for it to be removed from the bill which I find is very embarrassing especially when sitting next to other people in the restaurant. I did have a nice experience at PHO apart from this service charge issue ! Optional should imply a choice be given when paying ie would you like to pay an extra 12.5% YES or NO For this reason I will not be returning...
