Went there after a long time to have a little aperitivo, we had a nice bottle of wine and I asked for any gluten free food options (specifying that cross contamination is not an issue) as I cannot eat gluten. I was told they could make a charcuterie or cheese platter without bread and when I asked if they had any gluten free bread, taralli or crackers to replace it with, they said yes and told me that they sell gluten free crackers and I could purchase it separately for 4 additional pounds. Now, I paid a good bottle of wine, I’m ordering plenty of food.. should I really have to pay more to be able to eat because I cannot have gluten?! When are the patrons actually going to have customers allowed inside the premises? At the very least so that local residents are not forced to walk in the road to accommodate private enterprise?
