Wilton Way Cafe is our chilled-out weekend spot. My partner and I are regulars here, mainly for the epic pancetta and avo baps – they're just the right mix of tasty and comforting. The pastries are a hit too, perfect with a coffee. What we really love is the laid-back, neighbourhood feel. It's always full of locals, dogs, and kids, which adds a nice, homely touch. Great place for a relaxed bite and to feel part of the community.

Lovely vibe music played at a gentle volume, a fantastic play list. Coffee tea & pastries are always quality, with staff that remember your name. The owner, the lady running the show ,should win something to say ,best deli ,Coffee shop in North East London@♡&♡

Hands down the best coffee spot in east London. Also a fabulous spot for an aperol spritz with great food on a sunny summer evening. The best little escape spot with what I can only describe as the best chocolate croissant I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting.

I’ve been a local customer at Wilton Way Café for over two years, visiting a couple of times a week for convenience. The lunch options can be quite good on occasion, though consistency is sometimes lacking, and I’ve generally found the pastries to be underwhelming.

Earlier this month, during a particularly hot day (around 35°C), I visited for coffee and asked for some tap water with ice. I was told I could help myself to water from the Wilton Way Deli, but the water there was sitting in direct sunlight and was far too warm to drink. When I requested ice, I was told it would only be available if I purchased bottled water, which I did for £1.80 in order to receive ice. The explanation was that the café spends £60 a day on ice and therefore cannot offer it freely. Given the café’s pricing (over £4 for an iced coffee), I found this response disappointing, especially as a long-standing customer.

Additionally, the iced coffee is often pre-prepared and lacks flavour. I’ve politely requested freshly made espresso in my iced Americano on several occasions, but the staff have consistently been unwilling or unable to accommodate this simple request, even when clearly communicated.

While I’ve appreciated the café’s presence in the area, these experiences have made it difficult to justify returning. I hope feedback like this encourages a more thoughtful approach to customer service...

Tucked behind Hackney Central station, this little place is almost blink-and-you'll-miss-it - in fact we did and walked past initially before realising that yes, Mr Johnson's quirky little shopfront was our destination.

We came with the avocado on toast in mind. It came perfectly ripe on sourdough toast with chilli flakes and rock salt. Tasty and a good portion but we both agreed it needed more lemon to bring it to life. The goats curd with portobello mushrooms on sourdough, on the other hand, was a complete dream. Alex, being a boy, was still hungry after both of these and went for the grilled chorizo ciabatta with piquillo peppers and rocket that oozed that rich red all over the place.

The coffee's not bad but I'm not much of a coffee drinker. They serve London made fresh lemonade which was perfect as the sun beat down through the windows.

It's smaller inside than you'd expect, but the cafe is also home to the London Fields Radio. No beats on this Sunday but we're sure you'll catch some sooner or later. This place gets busy with people getting their sunny brunch time fix, so be prepared to queue but try and nab the benches in the window for prime people watching...

This is really an amazing place. Been here with some friends of mine few times, saw it on google+ and decided to write a review, couldnt miss it. Decoration is really nice in overall, whats special about the place is the food and the drinks they offer. All of the juices are organic, tasty food and amazing coffee. Also chairs and tables are position so its really comfortable. Only one downside and thats the ques in the weekend. I know its not a thing that can be avoided easily and its due to the popularity of the place, but still I dont really like to wait. I suppose I can live with that. The prices were really nice, considering the quality and the wide variety of food and drinks offered. I'm sure to come more often to this place and to recommend it...
