Wimpy — Restaurant in London

Was extremely disappointed to say the least ... to sum it up Wimpy is just a glorified greasy spoon cafe minus the popular chain name however I liked the fact that they served free range eggs. Staff were polite

The burger was awful, sausages were AWFUL, very poor quality , low meat content kind, gristle and all.

The decor was quite drab and depressing which surprised me. Also we had a dead fly accompany us on the table...

I requested to swap the baked beans for fries but they denied - fine. Was charged £3 for a side plate of fries. I'll add I have never been charged extra or swapping cheap items from other local cafes, so take from that as you wish. Waste of...

Food review.

Take me back to the 90s with this old school memories of being a child. The food was great retro and tasty. I had the original burger with the special sauce and it tasted like how it did when I was just a young nipper. Fries were crisps and so good. A bit pricey but it is a wimpy and I was happy to pay the price for a childhood memory.

Customer service was on point and very friendly. Food come on time with no issues. The lady who served me was very helpful and the old man I guess the franchise owner is always friendly and full of cheer.

I definitely will be returning with family...

I have fond memories of eating at Wimpy as a child - I'm not sure if my standards have increased or theirs have slipped, but this was truly dire. The burgers are thin, dry and tough - like shoe leather, served in a basic bun with some limp lettuce and a slice of tomato which is way too thick. The restaurant interior itself is depressing with horrible fluorescent strip lighting, outdated and inconsistent branding, and dirty laminated menus. Prices are a fair bit more expensive than McDonalds, and the food is significantly substandard in quality. Old school, in the worst way...
