Zarathustra Cafe London — Restaurant in London

I rated the food based on previous experiences cos this time around I didn’t even get to ordering food. Went in on Sunday early afternoon, a man was deep cleaning and didn’t acknowledge me until I prompted him after waiting patiently to be addressed. He couldn’t speak much English and proceeded to call someone on his phone I assume to come and take my order, but no one answered - he called 4 times. He didn’t take even a drinks order or anything but I was certain his English wasn’t great as I’ve never seen him taking orders before. The original woman was nowhere to be seen and at this point I was standing there for a good 15 mins waiting, as not a lot of other options on ten immediate area.

Got impatient so I left. I am a lifelong local in the area and have been to this cafe many times before since its existed and tbh it’s nothing great at all but I was loyal due to local business and again, not a lot of options in immediate area for a quick breakie etc. The food is very average, they always get something wrong, never feel welcomed when someone actually is there to welcome me, the woman who seamlessly runs the place looks miserable all the time and never really has good chat or seems friendly considering I’ve been going there on and off for nearly 20 years. The owner is the most arrogant and rude man and thinks he’s something special as he owns this and a few other businesses on the area, very unapproachable man and have had many spouts with him in the past.

Ultimately, if you manage to get service it’s a decent but forgettable place to have a quick coffee or breakfast but considering how long it’s been there and all the other completions in the wider area, it’s not great and very...

I was at this cafe today..omg staff so rude (fat old polish women) don't know how to talk to customers . I asked for a all day breakfast.. she shouted to me " what " she said look on the menu and what you want.. and sit down. I was so disgusting in her manner that I left. Does this dumb women know it's the how to talk to customers. The atmosphere in the cafe was horrible. Not even a Hi, Hello or a smile .. just WHAT.. Don't go if this fat old polish women is going to serve you it will ruine your day. Who interviewed her.. unbelievable how people don't have the basic customer service...

Been meaning to get here for awhile now and so glad we did! The woman behind the counter, Villi, is so sweet she really made the experience feel like family! She’s a very hard worker and funny too. For her alone, we would come back! However, the food was lovely as well! I had a cheeseburger that was so yummy it reminded me of home (USA) which I rarely get here in London!
