Zoo Bar & Club — Restaurant in London

I recently had the misfortune of visiting this bar and nightclub, and I must say, it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I cannot stress enough how disappointing and frustrating the entire experience was. If you value honesty, customer service, and fair treatment, stay far away from this establishment.

False Advertising: The first red flag was the falsely advertised tickets. What was supposed to be a fun night out turned into a major disappointment when we realized that the tickets we purchased didn't grant us access to the promised amenities and events. The management should be held accountable for these misleading practices.

Staff Runaround: When we encountered a problem with the tickets, the staff gave us the runaround, hoping we'd forget about it or give up in frustration. It's evident that they lack any sense of responsibility and prefer to sweep problems under the rug rather than addressing them head-on.

Incredibly Rude Staff: The staff's demeanor was downright appalling. They were not only unhelpful but also rude and dismissive. It was evident that they had little regard for their patrons and treated us with utter disrespect.

Overpriced Drinks: The prices of the drinks were exorbitant, to say the least. Not only were the cocktails mediocre at best, but the prices made us feel like we were being taken advantage of. It's clear that they prioritize profits over customer satisfaction.

A Shameless Scam: This place can only be described as a scam. From the moment we stepped in, it felt like they were trying to milk every penny out of us without providing any value in return. It's disheartening to see an establishment resort to such unethical tactics.

Intimidating Behavior: Worst of all, when some brave individuals dared to confront the staff about the issues and called them out on their dishonesty, they responded with intimidation and threats. Throwing customers out for expressing legitimate concerns is inexcusable and should not be tolerated.

It is truly astonishing that this establishment is allowed to continue operating. The lack of transparency, terrible customer service, and blatant disregard for patrons' well-being are unacceptable. In my opinion, it should not be legal for an establishment to run in such a manner. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place like the plague. There are plenty of other reputable bars and nightclubs that deserve your...

Don’t even deserve one star. Whoever is running this club should be embraced about the behaviour of every member of the staff. Very unhelpful, ignorant and rude people (especially the bouncers). You guys need a customer service training or at least start hiring people with some manners and a minimum level of spoken English. Every time my colleagues drag me into this place some unfortunate events happen. Last Sunday made me realise even more about how poor and mediocre this place is. The club wasn’t crowded I was dancing with a friend in front of a bench and I left my jacket wrapped in my bag there, in front of me. The bouncer knowing that this was my bag just took it (being very sneaky) which in certain point I do understand but he could have asked me. He didn’t, which is fine. After this I just asked him “Have you seen or taken my bag?” he denied have seen anything and started to laugh. So I started panicking, asking everybody if they had seen it, because I just had been there for 5 minutes and I just couldn’t understand anything. After enjoying watching me very worried, the bouncer started to shout at me in a very aggressive way in front of everybody saying that he took my bag, that I shouldn’t have leave it in there, that he was showing me a lesson of life and that I should thank him for all what he did. And this is not everything. Having a talk with a manager wasn’t worth it, because not even management knows how to deal with costumers. After this awkward situation the bouncer very bored searched me again. And he just made up a new rule which was something like “you are not allowed to hold your jumper with your hands you need to wear it” .I refused to do what he was saying because is so nonsense. 1 minute later I was in a room with two security guys yelling at me, asking me questions without letting me answer, saying that I was not behaving properly and this one was my last warning. Then I said very clear that I wanted to talk to a manger straight away, also I wanted their names. After what I said they decided to calm down and left me alone. This is just one of the disgraceful events that were surrounding the night. I have never written a complaint before about any place. But to be honest it was really hard to keep the night...

THIS PLACE IS CORRUPT, DISHONEST AND CROOKED which perhaps does not represent London well.... This was my first time going to London and was very disappointed of this bar, club or dirty tavern. A friend and I wanted to go out and found out about going to SOHO where this filthy bar is, but when we arrived the "SECURITY personal was really rude" and had told us that it was only 5 pounds to enter the place. I didn't care much about the 5 pounds but the INTERESTING part was when my friend and I walk up to the cashier to pay the 5 POUNDS and the cashier told us that it was 10 pounds for each AND not 5'. I was kind of frustrated given the fact the security people said it was 5 and I mention this to the cashier, but instead of honoring the five pounds; he say! I WILL GIVE YOU TWO FREE BEAR" given the fact that we were actually paying an extra five pounds for the bear that was supported to be FREE", so my friend end up telling me that it was okay; but if it was for me, I wouldn't have gone in....... Nevertheless, when we finally entered the place we had to pay and extra 2 pounds to leave our jackets and coats in a shitty locker room which has the worst customer service, as they make you feel; that they are doing a favor..... instead of being glad that you are a customer. In addition, when we went to get our FREE" beer which was given to us as a form of voucher, the bartender ignored us for about 15-25 minutes until he/she serves all the other people paying with cash/card. Moreover, SECURITY and the BAR" itself is very unorganized because they have really drunk people vomiting and falling everywhere as they didn't do much about it given the fact that these individuals are bumping into you and acting studied. This incidents I believe make it very uncomfortable if you are trying to have fun in a new country for the first time... Some of my friends will be coming to London soon and I will definitely not suggest this place to them as my experience was unacceptable and had low quality.......

In the other hand, If you have the same type of quality as this ZOO Bar, it will be great place to meet...
