It has that same 70s look as Kennington station with the grey platforms and smokey air that reminds me of those 19th century films about the dense smog and dimly lit streets of London in the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and Sherlock Holmes era.

Train platform looks dirty and saw a tissue on the ground when I accessed the ticket hall. There are cleaner stations nearby such as Tottenham Court Road station on the Northern Line about 7 minutes north and Green Park station on the Picadilly Line about 15 minutes west.
Not the most dirty and tired station out there but could be better. Even Charing Cross and Picadilly Circus stations...
