Leicester Square is one of the busiest spots in Central London, where millions of visitors walk by daily to appreciate this tradicional and famous english square which is located between Picadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square. This spot is well-known by visitors that look to buy last minute tickets on the TKTS booth for the most popular shows with discounts over 50% on the price on the same day of the show. Leicester Square is also the house of Odeon Cinema, VUE Cinemas and M&Ms, if you are lucky, you can see easily celebrities in the red capet when the cinemas are launching a new movie. Everything happens in this happy square of London, you can watch always some art show on the streets, ask to have a picture together with a very friendly police-man or just seat to watch people walking by....

Always busy and popular being that it is the 'gateway' to Chinatown and theatre land as well as the art gallery and the centre of many tourist attractions!!

It has that same 70s look as Kennington station with the grey platforms and smokey air that reminds me of those 19th century films about the dense smog and dimly lit streets of London in the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and Sherlock Holmes era.

'Elementary my dear Watson'.

Although not recently refurbished still very well maintained but always crowded.

10+ stars for cleanliness.

Served by both Picadilly Line which can go to the airport, and Northern Lines which can go to Waterloo station for great National Rail access.

Train platform looks dirty and saw a tissue on the ground when I accessed the ticket hall. There are cleaner stations nearby such as Tottenham Court Road station on the Northern Line about 7 minutes north and Green Park station on the Picadilly Line about 15 minutes west.

Not the most dirty and tired station out there but could be better. Even Charing Cross and Picadilly Circus stations...
