Very disappointing visit.We queued for ages on a Saturday afternoon for drinks in a very full venue only to be told as soon as it was our turn at the bar that they could not serve us because we did not have a table even though there were dozens of people stood outside obviously not sat at any tables.You don't deserve customers and we promptly left to enjoy drinks next door at Sureshot where we were warmly received, you won't last long in this business with that attitude,good luck Balance brewing and we...

Situated under railway arches in Manchester, this is one of the most exciting breweries in the UK to me.

Very relaxed atmosphere with great views of the barrels in the back. Great service, attentive and knowledgeable about the beer.

Quality of the beer was very high, everthing was interesting and tasty. The only drawback is that thre are only four beers on tap. They do have plenty of bottles to try as well.

I’ve been drinking their beer when I can find it for a while, and went to a meet the brewer at the Bear in Sheffield last year. It was great to be able to visit their taproom - a great place, highly recommended. It was somewhat entertaining watching larger groups primarily ordering lager.
