Floor supervisor, a young and smiling natured girl, was a star. We requested that if we could have a Masala Dosa for b'fast (it's not on menu), she went and checked with chef, who was generous enough to accept our request. We ordered a Masala Dosa and Chole Bhatura. Dosa was super crispy, sambhar was delicious, chutneys (coconut and garlic tomato) were spot on. Could not fault anything with the dish. Chole Bhatura was also nice, 2 massive Bhaturas were spongy, not oily. Were little overcooked on 1 side, just a little, but we enjoyed. Chole was sumptuous, flavourful with chopped onion on top, accompanying were an onion salad (very refreshing) and pickle. Overall, had a great Chole Bhatura after long time. Complementary Masala chai was very refreshing. We ordered another pot of Chai, nice strong Chai, loved it. We also ordered an Aloo parantha, we were a little disappointed with them though. Felt like we were eating a haldiram parantha from packet which was heated up, also they were undercooked. So yes, our great food journey did not end on a good note. The young waitress told us later the paranthas are made in house. But still we felt that the paranthas could have been better. Overall, we would definately love to come back again for lovely b'fast. We saw on neighbouring table, they ordered poori Chana, the plate was looking great, I will come again...
Read moreI've been visiting this restaurant regularly for the past three years and have always appreciated the food, which is consistently good. However, I feel compelled to share my experience today, which left me quite disappointed.
After finishing our meal, we requested the remaining food to be packed for takeaway — something fairly standard. To our surprise, the staff simply handed over the boxes and bags and expected us to pack the food ourselves. When we politely objected and expressed discomfort, they did not engage or offer any assistance. Instead, they continued with their tasks, ignoring our request entirely.
I found this situation quite awkward and unprofessional. As a loyal customer, it’s disheartening to feel dismissed and unsupported — especially when such basic service should be part of the experience. Out of principle, I chose not to take the food home and left after paying the bill.
Frankly, the level of disrespect and apathy was shocking. This isn’t a self-service mess hall. What happened today was lazy, careless, and completely unprofessional.
I genuinely hope the management takes this feedback seriously. It's not about the food — it’s about respect, attentiveness, and a minimum level of hospitality that all guests deserve, especially those who’ve supported the restaurant over the years.

Read moreSome cuisines like Pao bhaji are really good. However, I couldn't get the purpose of serving mini idlis. Also, there's been a recent incident with my wife and me when we went there today and ordered breakfast (Chana Puri and Chhole Bhature). the taste and quality of food was good but we had drink in a travel mug for which we asked for an empty glass to share between us. I was shocked when the lady serving there offered the glass and said simultaneously "Sorry, if that's tea it's not allowed to have it here". I found it really offending because, firstly, it's just a protein drink and even if it's a chai (which my wife in her previous visit took there and she was refused to drink it due to same reason when she ordered food), we have ordered the WHOLE breakfast and paying for it. Some Indians are very peculiar about their tea and if they are carrying it in a travel mug why are they being stopped doing that. Why can't they enjoy your ambience and food with their own drink even if they are paying what they've ordered for? Why are you spoiling the mood of the customer by creating fuss over little thing, an empty...
