Terrible Service and Disrespectful Owner I am extremely disappointed with Code.82 takeaway. The owner was shockingly rude to a delivery driver who was simply doing his job. When the driver asked how long the food would take, the owner initially said “5 minutes,” but intentionally made him wait for 25 minutes. When the driver politely asked again about the order, the owner responded in an incredibly disrespectful manner, saying he didn’t care if it took 25 minutes or even 45 minutes, and that he didn’t care about the customers either.
The driver explained to me how the owner belittled him and dismissed his concerns, even saying, “If you can’t wait, cancel the order.” This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially towards hardworking delivery drivers who are just trying to make a living.
I strongly urge everyone to stop supporting this business. A place run by someone so disrespectful doesn’t deserve our patronage. I also hope platforms like Uber Eats take note and take appropriate action against such establishments. We should not tolerate businesses that mistreat...

Concerned, I called the restaurant to report the issue, but what I got in response was shocking. The person on the phone, who claimed to be the owner, rudely dismissed my complaint. Read moreI placed 2 identical orders with 2 mins apart and realised I made a mistake. So I cancelled one of the orders. But the merchant refused to give my money back. I complained to Uber Eats customer service and they refused my refund request because they claim that the restaurant has started making the order. But come on! Just 2 mins! I believe no food went into waste as they went to me.
It costs me £39 to cancel the order.
Guys be careful with ordering from here and be careful using Uber Eats. They are scammers.
