Vegan Green Kitchen Chinese — Restaurant in Manchester

We have ordered through Ubee Eats a number of times and we were thrilled to find a dedicated Vegan Chinese within delivery distance. Tge first couple of times we ordered tge food was fine except the fake beef pieces had fake gristle in them as well! However we gave them the benefit of the doubt as overall it was good. However with the last few orders things have taken a turn for the worse with the special noodle dishes i enjoy repeadly tasting burnt. I switched to rice noodles with the next order but although this solved the burnt taste the downside was that there was hardly anything else in the 'special' noodles. I only found 2 pieces of meat in the whole meal! I foolishly decided to try again aa my youngest likes the tofu rice (hard to get such a simple dish wrong!) and so with the order i made today i decided to try something else and tried the iWok special Tofu. I have to say that it was the worst Chinese meal i have ever tasted with the Tofu tasting literally of detergent. I could not stomach this. I will not be taking any further chances with them.. such a shame. They need to just change the cook i am afraid. I think all the good reviews here must have gone to they're heads and they took they're eye off the ball. I have never felt compelled to write a review before but the repeated poor quality for what is for us a expensive treat as vegans needs highlighting with a hope that improvement...

some of the worst take out food ive ever had. I couldnt finish any of it. extremely overcooked / burnt. tofu was like eating a block of rock hard toenails. never again. look at the photo provided hahaha

The chips were absolutely horrendous as well. It always amazes me how places can do take out food, and not even know how to cook chips properly. Literally one of the most common things that people buy...

You can tell zero care is put into the preparation of this food, and with no quality control or quality checks what so ever. No idea how this place has any good reviews, people must have dangerously low standards. Not looking forward to going to the toilet tomorrow. can already feel my stomach turning. Ignore the other comments, save your money i beg you. There was no zero...

So I absolutely love this place, we order quite regularly and it's always my go-to for Chinese. I think it's just two people who run and cook everything but everything is always perfect. I've never had a bad experience yet

It does get really busy on usual takeaway times like Friday nights but it's worth the wait - the staff are always super apologetic but I'm glad they're getting a lot of orders, they deserve it!

If you got to collect, it's a bit weird to find and I'm not sure I would've if my friend hadn't taken me first. You'll see a lot of delivery drivers go in and out of the building it's in so you can find that and then head straight up the stairs and to your right and it has a little sign outside...
