AVERAGE FOOD AND VERY RUDE STAFF My friends and I ate at this restaurant and the food was okay to say the least. But the service was downright unsatisfactory and unprofessional. We were eating a la carte dish separately and when it was time to pay, the male staff gave us our bills. Since we are students on limited means, we had to confirm how much each of us needed to pay. As you can see in the pictures, the dishes in the bill was not written clearly or it's written in thai (i could be wrong), in which, either way, none of us understand. Hence we asked the staff. He got so mad and started accusing us of saying that he tried to cheat us with the price when in fact, we were just asking for which dish in the bill that was £11. It's not like we were trying to pay separately (as we all know, paying separately is dreadful and annoying) when it was time to pay, nor that we were trying to argue. And when i tried to explain to the staff that it was a misunderstanding, he blamed it on us and told us to know exactly the price of what we ordered. Well fair enough, but did you really have to give us an unpleasant attitude for just wanting to confirm the price? We were not trying to argue for god's sake. Kinda sad that an asian establishment would treat asian customers that way. This is the last time i would ever eat at this place. Too bad yall lost a customer who genuinely like thai food. Dont come here yall. Heard these guys are racist too.

Great thai restaurant that has tons of food options. * * * * * Samui Pad Kee Mow- Prawns- also called drunken noodles. spicy sweet sticky deliciously more-ish noodles with a strong thai basil flavour * * * * Ka Na Moo Krob (N) (F) (M) (G) (E)- meat was a bit tough, but very tasty * * * Steamed Pork Dumplings (4 Pieces) * * * Som Tum (N) (F) (M) (G) - Peanut - the papaya salad is more filling than expected, but was so SPICY it had almost no other flavour and was difficult to stomach. * * * * Kra Pow Moo Sub (N) (F) (M) (G) (E)- meat was a bit tought, but tasty. very SPICY * * * * * Yellow Curry Jasmine Rice - Chicken - delicious! * * * * * Green Curry with Fried Rice- Tofu - excellently balanced green curry with just the right amount of spice. I could eat tubs of this!

I don’t really have a proper photo of the fried calamari but the portion is tiny for the price (£6.5 for 6 small pieces). Both my friend and I ordered the Pad See Ew which is my favourite Thai dish. It was served hot but without ‘wok hey’ (essentially when stir fried is done well, they would smell very aromatic and taste better). On top of that, both of us found raw/hard pieces of the noodles which is rather strange cause the way to cook the noodles would be boiled so they’re softened then stir fried… They veggies are too crunchy (raw) as well as a stir fried dish. I would’ve reflected it on the spot but they didn’t ask for feedback/check in with us.

friend and I paid a visit to this store hoping to get something food. Instead, we were greeted with some good old fashion racism ( in 2021, I know).

We entered the place at around 5:15, 10minutes later the waiter asks us if we’re ready, we say not yet, we just need a little more time. He the proceeds to tell us that we need to order quick because there’s a booking at 8pm. I asked him what that has got to do with me as there is more than enough time for us to eat and leave. He then proceeded to shout at us telling us we’re not getting served because we’re taking too long. A couple next to us heard all this and said to him that, “we’re not staying and eating here because of the way you were speaking to them.” And left. Once they left he got angry at us and said our presence is pushing people out of the restaurant.

*Take note that he didn’t give this 10 minute timer to anyone else in the restaurant. *

Then he called the police lying over the phone saying we are causing ruckus in the restaurant and enticing other people to leave without paying (????). My friend and I had to stay just so we could talk to the police, unfortunately, they did not show and we had to leave after being ignored until 7pm.

This restaurant hasn’t single-handedly ruined my perfect image of Manchester. Would never recommend to anyone again, please save your money and your time.

How do we run out of petrol but never runout of injustice and bold face racism? Black history month?

Would give negative...

If google had a half star feature that's what it would get. I phoned up a day earlier to make a booking for the sunday buffet and they said that you can just walk in and it won't be busy at all. On the day there were two groups ahead of us. They had no chairs and asked us that if we want to sit (we were two) we would have to share the table with someone. We said we would wait. My wife went to sit on a seat in the meanwhile and they went straight to her and asked her to get up from there and that she wasn't allowed. Things got worse. We just got fed up and sat somewhere being ok to share a table with someone else. We went to the food area and none of the food was labelled. Everything was put in filthy dishes as if you were in a takeaway back kitchen. When my wife asked what it was, they replied back to her in Thai. At this point she just got very frustrated and livid and walked out. I handed the waitress back the plate I had just started filling and she looked at me as if I've created a gross sin. If you really value your respect and dignity, then stay away from this place. If you dont care about the above then go ahead by all means and try the place out. Let me know what the food tastes...
