Detailed Review of food, staff and atmosphere: Upon entry, the restaurant looks very inviting, we was greeted by a friendly member of staff who gave us our own choice of seating which was great.
As we sat down our lovely server explained the menu and tea menu in great detail and even went the extra mile to double check what food is halal - (all but the pork obvs)
Atmosphere - It is very well decorated, clean and vibrant perfect for date nights or dinner with friends and family. My favourite piece was the high flower table and the art work above the kitchen! The hanging lanters are a nice touch also.
Food I ordered: chicken dumplings / chicken wings / chicken spring rolls / beef pho / prawn tempura / prawns fried rice (food comes as and when ready / is kind of like small plates, we had 3 plates each) Total Bill = £90 (including drinks, 2 teas and a large still water)
Chicken dumplings which is like gyoza in a light dipping sauce, they are very full with chicken and taste nice. Chicken spring rolls, the crisp outside was light and they were well stuffed and flavoursome on the inside.
The chicken wings from the top section of the menu were in a slightly spicey / bbq flavoured sauce (this was my favourite) they were so rich in flavour but very messy to eat (Highly Recommended though!)
Beef Pho - This comes out with a side plate of the garnishes such as Thai basil, mint, chilli etc so you can add what you like which I think is great, there's an accompanying broth that gets poured on top infront of you which cooks the steak on top! This was fun to watch! - Overall, pho was amazing! So rich and deep in flavour!
Prawn Tempura - I don't even eat prawns but I enjoyed this! So they are quite large in size and you get a few on the plate which is good. It comes with a deep soy based sauce which I must say was my favourite dipping sauce of all the dishes. The batter on the prawns had a salt and pepper taste to it and was so light and crispy! I highly recommend the dish.
Drinks - I tried the lemon tea and the Singapore tea... the lemon tea was really nice it was like a soft rich detox of lemon tea with Thai flavours / The Singapore tea was very light and fruity, it has strawberry in which is a favourite of mine but it also had a hint of that traditional Thai flavour like hints of a jasmine type of after taste flavour. The tea infusing pot and cups were so beautiful and smart and the staff bring refills of hot water if you want more.
Overall verdict - Amazing lovely restaurant, the food is great and reasonably priced for the quality! I think what made the overall experience was actually the staff.
From entry and first point of contact to leaving the restaurant every single member of staff was so attentive and pleasant, if my glass was empty they would refill it and they are all so pleasant it really does make the restaurant one to visit and I will definitely return so thank you to...

First time eating here and sadly it will also be the last. After reading reviews we were pretty optimistic about the place. Menu looked nice, cocktails sounded interesting and the decor from the pictures all looked great. Upon arrival we noticed it looked pretty empty but we had an early booking (4.30) so put it down to this. We then got shown to our table which is the point our experience took a turn for the worse.
There appeared to be a total of 3-4 couples all sat at a small square table. The tables were in a line all in very close proximity to eachother and with a very quiet atmosphere it felt like you could hear every word of eachothers conversation. Now I understand that this is not the only place in Manchester to have a layout like this but when you are paying the prices they are charging we were expecting at the very least to have some privacy whilst dining.
After sitting down for about 5 minutes we then noticed several electric heaters dotted around the place. Clearly the place has an issue with cold temperatures and we seemed to have been given a table that was badly effected by this. Maybe this is the reason all the customers were bunched so closely together so we could all radiate body heat amongst us? It was that cold that coats are recommended. Just not the experience you expect when paying over £100 for 2 people to eat out at all.
We were then greeted by the waitress who explained the menu. We were told that the way it works here is that the dishes just come out when they are ready and it was said in such a way to make it seem like this was some kind of perk or selling point. This to me just seems a lazy approach as it suggests they are putting zero effort into planning out the timing of the cooking. My preference is to know the order of my food and for the food to arrive at the same time for both of us to eat together.
There was around 20 to 30 minute wait before the first dish arrived. In terms of the food, the chicken rice rolls were actually really good. The dragons breath pork noodles were also tasty. However, the rest of the food we had ordered was nothing to write home about sadly.
All in all, when comparing Namii Kitchen to other places in the area at a similar cost (Tattu or Ivy Asia for example) this place just is not in the...

That is the best way I can explain the feeling at Namii Kitchen & Cocktails. Following a surprise proposal for one of my closest friends at cloud 23, the new bride to be craving some sake and that led us to Namii's front steps.
Transported to a world where you are surrounded by beautiful flower murals, hanging lights- you can feel the authenticity in the decor and as a huge Vietnamese cuisine lover- the energy felt safe, warm, intentional and I had a feeling we would not be disappointed.
I appreciate how lovely, compassionate the staff were from calling ahead to closing time to ask if there had any open tables to our beautifully prepared meals taken as last orders and free dessert for the newly engaged couple- the thoughtfulness was deeply appreciated.
I can't thank them enough for accommodating our last minute dinner dash. A special shout out to the team, especially the chefs and our lovely host for the evening CC, thank you so much!!
Now on to our orders, with no expectations as usual we asked for a sake recommendation from the staff who suggested the Ginjo Yuzu Sake served cold which was 10/10.
Our food order; Namii squid was delicious I really need the recipe for the secret sauce!!10/10, it also paired so nicely with- Double fried Garlic pork! 10/10

P.S: we were really famished so I don't have many pictures of the meal but believe me when I say you would...
