Absolutely shocking experience. Me and my daughter visited after watching the Manchester pride parade for food and a drink. Expected it to be busy however we were lucky to find an empty table within a few minutes. Me and my daughter both had time to use the ladies and look at the menu to order food and a drink using the app, (approx 15-20 mins) A man called Dan came over and quite rudely put a reserved sign on the table we were sat on and said “we need this table at 4pm”. I looked up and he said “that’s 50 minutes” quite condescending. I said if we’ve had our food by then not a problem as we were intending to eat and leave not stay on for drinks. In the meantime, the same sized table next to us was reserved for 3:30pm and dressed with Pride accessories. At 3:45pm a female waitress came to our table and said we need this table back now. I said I’m not leaving the table as we’ve ordered food that hadn’t arrived and we’re still having our drinks. So then Dan returned complete with his attitude and said “we need the table, we have a booking” I informed Dan I’m not leaving the table as we are still waiting for food. Dan continued to be rude asking me what he was supposed to do about the booking. I informed him that we had ordered food, and it’s not my problem if he’s not been well prepared and you can’t just put a reserved sign on and force us to move. He said “I’ll refund your food order” - completely unacceptable. I don’t think he quite understands customer service. It went back and forth with my daughter witnessing this whole uncomfortable situation, with his poor attitude and his dishonesty that “upstairs is for bookings only” - completely untrue. I said why not just put them on another table gesturing to the table next to us that was reserved but not yet occupied 20 minutes past the booking time. He walked away and came back a few moments later for the reservation card. I passed this to him and he changed the reservation card on the next table for the 4pm booking card. Easy as that. The whole altercation was completely unnecessary, and a dampener on a day me and my daughter were out to celebrate pride. Please give Dan further training regarding policies for bookings and paying customers who are well within their rights to sit at a table and not be subject to an hostile experience.

First time visiting and will be the last. Service was poor, didn't feel welcomed the tables are so dirty, and cocktails were disgusting, never had such awful drinks before. You could barely taste anything but water, the worst being the old fashioned, the orange was left in the drink, was not stirred, color was not consistent, when asked to have it remade, as it was not drinkable, the second was just as bad. The pina collada had a dried up passonfruit on it, never seen that before. Thought that was strange.

Went to the bottomless brunch, food was served quite quickly and was adequate. We had chicken burgers, vegan burger and halloumi wrap! On arrival we were given a bottle of prosecco and OJ, cocktails and vodka plus mixers were ordered, but very weak/barley any taste of alcohol. The place was very crowded and loud, so it's hard to hear others speak. Staff friendly, quick and very helpful. Ladies toilets small, 2 cubicles and 1 sink! I've had worse, wouldn't go again unless was asked as a group!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bottomless Brunch Brilliance with Izy & Hannah ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had the absolute pleasure of experiencing the bottomless brunch at Slug and Lettuce, and it was nothing short of amazing, made even better by the incredible service from our two standout servers, Izy and Hannah.

From the moment we arrived, Izy and Hannah made us feel welcome and looked after with warm smiles and an upbeat energy that set the tone for a perfect afternoon. Their friendly, attentive approach created a relaxed yet lively atmosphere that really elevated the whole experience.

They were both so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, suggesting some absolutely delicious drinks (which we probably wouldn’t have thought to try otherwise!). Each recommendation was spot-on and catered perfectly to our tastes. Whether it was a refreshing spritz, a fruity cocktail, or a classic bubbly, they kept our glasses topped up without ever needing to ask.

When it came to food, they were equally helpful. Their recommendations were clearly made with care and a genuine love for the menu. The dishes arrived quickly, beautifully presented, and were absolutely delicious, fresh, flavourful, and perfect for the brunch vibe.

Throughout the brunch, Izy and Hannah made sure everything flowed smoothly, keeping a great pace with drinks and checking in regularly without being intrusive. They struck the perfect balance between being professional and personable, creating a fun and relaxed environment that made us feel like VIPs for the day.

It’s rare to find service this good and genuine, attentive, and full of personality. They were clearly passionate about making sure everyone had a good time, and they absolutely nailed it.

If you’re considering booking the bottomless brunch at Slug and Lettuce, do it! And if you’re lucky enough to have Izy and Hannah looking after you, you’re in for a truly unforgettable experience. 🍹💫

We’ll absolutely be back, and it’s thanks in large part to these two. Massive thank you to...

We have been do this place twice now under a year. Once in November 2024 Last year, It was really busy in Manchester due to the football and the motorway we were really late in getting here. The female door staff was great with us in the end. due to us been 30 minutes late, we lost our table 😭. After speaker to her for 5 minutes and explained I paid for a table. She took us back in side and sorted us a table.

They even had party things on the table to make your night ever better.

Like I said this place was really busy but we still have a great time. The staff on the floor even had time to handwrite on your booking card happy birthday and wedding anniversary.

The lady who was looking after us kept our table full of drinks even though she was looking after 8 or 9 other tables 👏👏. She did a really great job.

We had a great time.

The second time we went up was June 2025 this year. Again this was a Saturday evening and it was not that busy. Again we had a great time and the and the table always had drinks on it and while we was they I must have jumped my wallet on the floor as some point. I did not know this untill a few days, later when I come to look for it. I contant the hotel there did not come across it. The wife contacted the Uber did not even contant her back 😡. I contact Slug and Lettis, a manager answered the phone checked the lost probate and they it was 😁😁. This guy and there staff are great. This guy went out of his way and posted my wallet back to me and I got it back the next day 10/10 ⭐⭐

100% when we come back to Manchester we will be popping back are again 😁🌟🍹🍹
