Has taken a while to write this as I have been busy. Firstly my party of 4 people people had booked in advance 3 or 4 months as we were coming from Glasgow and flying out on holiday from Manchester to Cape Verde I requested an assessable room as one of my party has walking disabilities, I received an email from the property asking if I was aware I had booked the assessable room and I replied yes it was needed. Now on arrival on 6th of Aug 19 we got to the property at about 10.30pm we were greeted at the front desk by I assume was a night porter he asked if we had stayed there before and I said no he then said very sarcastically "oh your in for a treat then" he gave us keys to 2 rooms I asked which 1 was the disabled room and he said none of them I explained it had been booked for months and also I had received correspondence from the property regarding the room he checked on the computer and said oh yeah so you did but the only disabled room left was upstairs as the 1 we booked had been given to someone else sorry not good enough as my friend could not go upstairs so had to settle for an ordinary room, absolutely shamefully as it had an over the bath shower and I won't even go into that, we went for breakfast in the morning and after I went to reception to ask to speak to the manager who was conveniently not in today receptionist said she would pass on complaint to manager next day and she would get him/her to email me, still waiting, bloody awful experience for us and would not recommend this place to anyone...

I had booked this hotel months in advance for a weekend stay, only to have my reservation abruptly cancelled just four days before arrival. The timing conveniently coincided with a major Bruce Springsteen concert in town, and it’s hard not to feel like my booking was sacrificed in favor of more lucrative, last-minute rates.||I received a generic cancellation email with no proper explanation or alternative accommodation offered. Scrambling to find another place on such short notice during a busy event weekend was incredibly stressful and expensive.||I understand demand can surge during big events, but honoring confirmed reservations should be non-negotiable for any reputable hotel. This experience was both frustrating and disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend booking here if you value...

Perfect for what we needed! Situated across the road from Piccadilly station and shopping mall so ideal if traveling in by train! Close to a tram stop and close walk to the city circle.|Room with bathroom was small but very clean and lovely decorated. |All the staff we saw were lovely!! So helpful, accommodating and up for a laugh! |Breakfast was simple but nice. Everything we needed was available. Made and taken back to our room! |The pub doesn’t open until 12. So keep that in mind if arriving early and there are only steps to the rooms but we were offered to leave big bags downstairs if needed and the lovely staff helped carry them down for us when leaving! |Pub is lovely, clean and English atmosphere! Beers were good!! |Go there for a beer even if you’re not...

Don't go unless you are desperate to be close to picadilly train station. The accommodation is terrible, filthy, the windows are about 100 years old and haven't been cleaned since the first day they were installed. Nothing about this place I can recommend. No food served in the pub, eventhough it's advertised on their website, they also don't tell you that the breakfast isn't cooked and that it comes in a tiny box, the price of the box...maybe £1.50 (max). Drafty as the windows don't fit well. Rooms are so close and walls so thin you can hear everything. Carpet doesn't fit. Mold in bathroom. Over priced, £25 a night would be about right. You've been warned.

Room was clean and tidy, ideal location for was place of work and close to Piccadilly station. Short walk into the city centre. Breakfast was different as you could take it back to your room where I could continue to work. Decent selection to choose from. You want 5 star hotel standard go to Dakota but this place is cheap cheerful clean and tidy.
