The pub is a great football pub and a ggodvplacecto watch a Man Utd match. However when my wife and I watched an Utd match on a Tuesday night, the pub was very quiet. Could be cos it was a Tues night. One half of the pub was a bit busier , but they weren't there for the match. And the pub was also unique for the hundreds of Utd related pics, 90% of which were George Best. Absolutely cracking shots. I tried a Guinness but it wasn't great, a chance you take when outside Ireland. Although I had nice Guinness in Italy recently!! The bar staff were very friendly , especially Dillon, who I had a nice chat with. But the biggest downfall were the toilets. The men's were rough and ready but Mary reported the ladies as very dirty and not nice at all. Read moreA very popular Manchester United pub any time of the day and night, there's pictures of the old players and events on most of the walls, 3 floors, an open balcony on the 3rd with some cover from the Manchester weather, you will find some toilets up there too. The 2nd floor has 2 rooms 1 with a massive screen for sports events and the other room with a bar in had a dj on playing popular songs, I thought it was a private event but no, it was great fun. And then on the ground level which is narrow and long, there's 2 entrances, a long bar some, seating and toilets at one end. There may be Kareoke on when you go, everyone is very friendly, staff and...
Read moreA narrow put tall pub just off Deansgate. When you first enter you think it's very small but there's 3 floor's which lead up to a small roof terrace, with a section of it covered, but I'm not sure how waterproof it'll be as we visited on a hot day do it was packed. The place is full of quirky character as the walls and ceiling's are adorned with pictures, some hand painted, of local Mancunians. The bar downstairs is also covered with artificial dusty flowers adding to the quirkiness but looks cluttered. Plenty of staff but I had to shout them to get served as they were busy chatting...
