Caffè Nero — Restaurant in Metropolitan Borough of Solihull

I hate Birmingham Airport. It is undeniably the worst airport I have used in the UK.

The Caffè Nero in Birmingham Airport is the best Caffè Nero I have been in, and it’s all down to one man. Standard airport mitigations like paper cups etc. But we attended Caffè Nero to get our coffees using our free voucher from vitality, and the service we received was as if we had put in an order or £20,000 of stuff. I have rarely in the UK encountered a staff member so genuine and friendly. Our coffees were well (and lovingly) made and we even overheard him gently persuading a colleague to go above and beyond in her interaction.

I wish I had go his name, as he really was a ray of sunshine before the utter horror of the BHX security farce. I hope he gets a promotion, because he conveys a sense that he loves serving members of the public, and as someone that deals with members of the public on a daily basis I have nothing but...

A few mornings ago I came into this nero before flying out. I wasn’t feeling the best that morning and one of the baristas saw this and asked me if I was okay, a red headed young lady, she had me sit down and before I knew it I was feeling like I was going to pass out. She got first aiders to come and eventually when I did nearly pass out they were there to catch me. The employee got me some food and drink to help me feel better and refused my money for it. She got me something to be sick in as I told her I didn’t feel too good. This employee went above and beyond for me and was extremely kind and caring. I would like to leave some great feedback about Kira, she was our waiter. Absolutely amazing human being, so lovely kind passionate and positive. Smiley and thoughtful. Normally, you see lots of tables in cafes like star bucks cafe nero not cleared and staff just moping around waiting to be asked to clear a table, but Kira, was on it all the time, making sure we were ok and the tables were ready for the next customer, organising tables and chairs as people just leave things in a mess before they go. Absolute asset you your cafe at Bham Airport. Credit where due and i hope Cafe Nero company recognise Kira for her hard passionate work....
