I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Cornish Bakery, and it was an absolute treat for my taste buds! From the moment I stepped inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere instantly made me feel welcome. The bakery's delightful aroma of freshly baked goods further heightened my excitement for what was to come.
Let me start by gushing about their lattes—pure perfection in a cup! The baristas at the Cornish Bakery are true artists when it comes to crafting the ideal latte. The rich, smooth espresso combined with perfectly steamed milk created a velvety texture that was pure bliss. Each sip was a heavenly experience, with a balanced and robust flavor that left me craving for more. Whether you prefer a classic latte or fancy trying a flavored variation, the Cornish Bakery's latte menu has something to suit every taste.
Now, let's talk about their croissants, which were simply divine! The moment I took my first bite into their freshly baked croissant, I was transported to pastry paradise. The flaky, buttery layers were delicate and airy, just as a croissant should be. The golden, crisp exterior gave way to a tender, melt-in-your-mouth interior that was a true testament to the bakery's commitment to quality. Whether you choose a plain croissant or opt for one with a delectable filling, such as almond or chocolate, each bite is an experience to savor.
What truly sets the Cornish Bakery apart is the attention to detail in their ingredients. They source only the finest, locally-sourced and organic produce, ensuring that each element of their lattes and croissants is of the highest quality. It's evident that their passion for using premium ingredients translates into every aspect of their culinary creations.
Moreover, the staff at the Cornish Bakery deserve a special mention for their exceptional service. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about their products. Their warm smiles and helpful recommendations added an extra touch of delight to my visit.
The Cornish Bakery provides an inviting ambiance, expertly crafted lattes, and heavenly croissants that will leave you longing for your next visit. Whether you're seeking a quick coffee fix or a leisurely morning breakfast, this place will exceed your expectations. I cannot recommend the Cornish Bakery highly enough for an unforgettable experience that will satisfy even the most discerning coffee and pastry connoisseurs.
In conclusion, if you're in search of a place that serves exceptional lattes and scrumptious croissants, look no further than the Cornish Bakery. Read moreI had the pleasure of using this kiosk several times during the course of MCM Birmingham this weekend just gone and I have to say I was blown away each time.
Not just by the excellent flat whites (tiny and strong, as they should be!) or by the intensely delicious pastel de nata (so good I could’ve eaten six!), but by the impeccable service of the two members of staff that were working on their own all weekend long.
I didn’t get their names, but it was a guy with pink her and a young female colleague and they were both absolute rockstars all weekend long. No matter how busy they were, no matter how early the start or late in the day, they were both EXCELLENT every single time. Their positive attitudes never wavered for a moment, they were having fun and laughing, interacting with customers in a joking and friendly manner.
Honestly, getting such great service and such delicious coffee on what was an incredibly busy and overwhelming weekend for everyone was joyful. I’d recommend this...
Read moreWhile working at the NEC for a convention, the Cornish Bakery consistently supplied lovely baked goods and hot drinks for us. Their vegan curried cauliflower pasty is very good, and my friend enjoyed several of the other meatier items on the menu. We both really liked the pain au chocolate and the cherry & almond croissants.
I wish there was a way to negotiate a discount for convention exhibitors, as there are few reasonable food options in the area. Despite being one of the better priced vendors in walking distance, we spent more than we planned to on food. We did, however, really enjoy the pasties and pastries we bought from here, and took advantage of end of day discounts whenever we could.
The entire team over the weekend were great! Lovely to chat with, participating in the atmosphere (playing music from animated show soundtracks, alternated with Muse) and giving fast, high quality service. If we work at the NEC again we will definitely be going...
