So when i came in the shop i had asked if i can pay by cash they said yes but i had to order through their computer thing i asked if i can get help since i haven’t come across this, one of the staff member come around and starts to help me order I asked her if she could put extra cheese on which she told me is a pound extra i said that’s fine I still want it, she clicked it and gave me my receipt so I can pay at the till. I can see another staff member making my food and they did not add extra cheese so I proceeded to ask him to put more as I paid for it, he literally scream at me and said I didn’t pay for it and I said yes I did your staff member was there to help me and she’s the one the clicked it, he continued to shout at me saying I didn’t pay for it and then the lady that first helped me said I did it for her after that he still wasn’t calming down and saying it wasn’t on the computer for him and I’m saying well that’s not my problem? Read moreI ordered for 6 inch Mexicana Beef Crunch with double meat, i only put red onions and pickles down for the ingredients, But It contained sweetcorn in my sub. As I was eating after couple of bites I noticed sweet corns in my sub. So went to the staff to make sure I made the order right. He checked for the order to make sure I didn't opt for sweetcorn, after confirming it his response was outright rude. Saying there is only one or two sweet corns in there, so we can't do anything about it. So i was not happy, because I've worked in subway as a sandwich artist before, I know that's not how you reply to a customer. So i opened the sandwich and looked for sweet corns I found 5 more sweet corns and when I confronted them about it. They were like ok we'll make you another sub and I sat down. Few minutes later another staff came down to me and talked with me explain that and Mexicana Beef already contains sweetcorn. But that was nowhere mentioned in their menu. I spend £24 on 4 footlongs, and asked for half a cup of tap water for my thirsty baby (who can't drink cold water from a fridge) and they rudely said NO. The only way they would give me water is if I bought a plastic water bottle trucked in from another country. Those water bottles are stored in their fridge, wasting energy on a cold winter's day. I had no choice but to buy it and try to warm it up for my baby.
The food I bought was wrapped in plasticy paper that is probably not recyclable, which was then wrapped in plastic bags. I asked if they had a recycle bin and they don't; it all gets thrown into one bin.
