A fantastic place which I always knew from when I was growing up, went in as an adult a few years back and always my favourite pub to go to despite not being able to go often.
The staff are always happy and are very good socially, helping me to come out of my shell on a number of occasions. Even as much as recognising me months later with no meeting. It's clear they care for their patrons.
The drinks selection is vary varied and should cater to most, if not all, types of people. From Beer to gin to whiskey to rum etc etc. Don't be afraid to ask, very accommodating.
There's darts, pool tables and a jukebox for those who enjoy them as well as quieter seating areas for those who prefer to be more secluded. They have multiple T.V screens across the pub allowing for easy viewing no matter where seated.

Read moreThis was our second visit to this pub. The first time we were happy, but not this time. We came shortly before the last call and ordered a few drinks. A woman, possibly the owner’s daughter, suddenly poured our drinks into plastic cups for no reason and even took a beer straight from my partner’s mouth, saying she wanted the glass back.
We weren’t drunk or causing any trouble — just enjoying a friendly game of pool. Other customers still had glass pints, so it felt unfair and like we were being singled out.
