I had the pleasure of dining at Taylor’s yesterday with my wife and our 5-year-old son, and it was an experience worth celebrating.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and the attentive staff went above and beyond to ensure our evening was perfect. Not only was the service impeccable—gracious, efficient, and effortlessly polished—but they also showed genuine kindness towards our son, making us feel truly at ease. It’s rare to find such a refined restaurant that is equally child-friendly, and we greatly appreciated their thoughtful gestures.

The food was nothing short of exquisite. Every dish was a masterpiece—expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. The culinary craftsmanship was evident in every bite, making it a dining experience to savour and remember.

The atmosphere was equally delightful—elegant, inviting, and intimate, creating the perfect setting for a memorable evening. The seamless blend of sophistication and warmth is what makes Taylor’s truly stand out.

I cannot recommend Taylor’s Fine Dining highly enough. Taylor’s is a shining gem in Newark. We will most certainly be returning.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for a truly...

Worthy of it's rating. We went for the Sunday lunch, The soup wasn't something I'd order, but was so much nicer than I expected, so smooth and tasty. The roast platter was delicious, including the best cauliflower cheese I've ever had, my only complaint would be some of the portions. The beef was amazing, but you only got two slices and I would have liked more mash as there was only really a forkful each also one carrot and piece of broccoli each. The chicken was so flavourful, and the pork was nice, but I always find pork tastes the same everywhere, the crackling was perfect though. The Yorkshire puddings was, ok. It was a Yorkshire pudding. Everything else was amazing though. For dessert was Eton mess, and to answer the question of how nice can you make an Eton mess? The answer is very. It was SO good. The staff were also very nice and attentive. We did leave both full, but not massively so for a three course meal. Overall I'd say it's good value for the amount and for the top quality you get, would definitely recommend. Can't wait to go back and try the...

Stunning Tasting Menu at the Best Restaurant in Newark Wow! This was a real lunch time treat. This is real Fine Dining😋 From the start with the Bread Platter you know it's going to be something special. Followed by the Lobster with fresh Squid ink pasta.

Not going to list it all as there is a pic of the menu for you to drool over.😃

The star of the show was the Rump Steak with Ox Tail, Parsnip and Beetroot.

At the end of the meal you get Petit Fours with tea included. We feel at £60 for a tasting menu as good as this it's great value. The service and food was outstanding.

We Sat on one of their Chef's table so you can see all the dishes being created. They also have a lovely cosy cellar area ideal for private dining.
