Cafe Central (taste Northumbria) — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

Cool place. I visit for one June lunchtime a year whilst involved with Newcastle Music Services 'Big Gig' held next door at Sports Central, and have done the last four years or so. I am a long time graduate but today I went to the university cafe since I had a trial near by, the coffee was so bad and expensive the same as Starbucks prices for less value basically felt like I was drinking pure milk! For that price I think Costa or Starbucks has better coffee, and within a walking distance, But the staff were nice and the atmosphere was nice, less crowded than other cafes , not many...

Some of the staff are friendly and helpful and coffee and food is good. However the place is let down by a few of the members of staff with abrupt and cheeky attitudes. Could understand the occasional bad day but the frequency of bad experiences has warranted this bad review.
