I loved yes loved this place. Staff are polite and professional, this place has been refurbished, well I say that it's had a new carpet and the bogs have been done out. Now the important stuff... The 2 cans offer has gone so has the extensive cocktail menu, so be prepared £3.70 for carling 😧 I could drink on Grey Street for that and hope you like 1 of the 5 cocktails on offer cos you only get 1 for the price of one. Very disappointed that the refurb meant changing the reason people drink here 😏 bring back the offers and cocktails. Please bring it back, not everyone likes change. I feel bad giving 2 stars as this is no reflection on the staff just the price's and lack of choice. Sorry 🙏 unfortunately I will not be going back soon 😢. Just been back and pleased to say that whoever owns it has done a great job. Loads of special offers on until 6pm week days and 3pm on weekends. Excellent choice of drinks £3 for Carling and cheap cocktails. Music is excellent staff are friendly will definitely...

Not only has Peppers improved since it's refresh, many other places are offering poor value for money (e.g. What used to be Yates's and Tiger Tiger), or stopped their music altogether (E.g. Butler's bar or downstairs at spoons near the station) or closed altogether (e.g. Fleet Street, or the pop bar in the gate or Stack) so Peppers, with its friendly door staff and top pop music across all the decades is even more of a gem.

I was told recently that many many years ago this was known as the Whistle Stop, which I also used to go in.

I've noticed a lot more people going there, so if you're looking for music to replace Stack get in to Peppers.

I left me and my wifes drinks on the end of the bar for 2 minutes and when we returned they were gone.when reading this you obviously think how stupid can you be.i can honestly say that they weren't stolen but binned by the staff.when I confronted the manageress she said someone had stolen them.HOWAY I wasn't born yesterday.anyway I we were gonna stay a bit longer but decided not to.good music,good fun,pity the staff have no management skills how to deal with customers.ie the OLD lady wearing glasses who thinks more of...
