This is the star of Acorn Road. Particularly a dream for anyone with a sweet tooth. The millionaire slice, chocolate & banana bread, carrot cakeâŚwow, just wow! As far as cakes go, I just donât think it gets better than this. My tastebuds vividly and fondly remember a jalapeĂąo cheese pretzel which was incredible as well, I think they mightâve been a one-off though. The three cheese & onion toastie was decent. I didnât really enjoy the coffee, Iâm clearly in the minority, and glad to be. Nothing to do with the quality, just wasnât to my taste. This doesnât impact my overall rating as everything else is SO good. Never had any of the loafs but they look and smell delicious. Everything tastes fresh, and can tell that theyâve been made with quality ingredients and care. Plenty of choice, almost too much choice, itâs so hard to decide as they all look yummy. Reasonably priced, two words that rarely get used nowadays. Lots of places charging substantially more for substantially less. Friendly staff and reliable service. The queues from open to close really say it all. Itâs somewhat of a tradition now every time my relatives visit, the trip isnât complete without getting some goodies here the morning after, just before...

I would say however, you need to get a more accessible changing table because my son barely fit on the baby one in the bathroom and no one should have to lie on the bathroom floor...

I cane across Pink Lane Bakery and when I ordered was informed that they had ran out of Pain au Chocolat which I must say I was a little disappointed but brought a delicious croissant instead :) Then just afterwards a girl came to my table and told me that she overestimated how many would be needed and gave me a Pain au Chocolat free of charge. Thank you go the girl that did this, you...
