Shawarma Newcastle — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

I ordered here for the first time. The service was attentive at first and I made it clear I was eating in and sat at table. The lady then wrapped it up to go after what felt a long time. Other people were being served 🙄 and getting food who came after me. As I opened the silver foil...the nan bread was very cold to the touch. The other side was barely warm. I went to complain about this and the lady said what do you want me to do? She then said something to her coworker about me but I didn't understand. I believe she just forgot about my order and left the nan to get cold. She then took it and left it by the oven to warm up. The food wasn't special and was greasy with very little chicken bits for a shawarma. See photos. The only good thing was the chips were piping hot. I wouldn't recommend this place and I've reviewed many places over the years. You're better off going to Dixy chicken about 50ft away.

I have eaten in and takeaway many times the meat content in our wraps was shocking busy or not it should be the same we have always been satisfied but was disgracefull for the money and i am aware how hot it is in a takeaway but you do not wipe sweat from your face and not wash your hands before handling food but clearly any negatives posts you are always right its customers fault wont be back and recomend others not to waste there money better service and value for money will stick to one opersite st james park always good value and service and its exstreamly busy day and night even if we are in heaton ................Threw my wrap in the bin hardly any meat in it plenty salad great if your on a diet absolutely waste of £6 oh and member of staff wiped sweat of his face with blue roll then handled customers food luck for me another member of staff made my wrap j7st put very little almost no meat in it won't be returning gone...

Order a few times through ubereats and it has been on time, only this time that was late and i was unhappy about it, waited for the food and when it came the bag was cold and i mentioned to the delivery person about it, and they said is not them, and if u not happy then ring the shop, im only a ubereat driver got nothing to do with me.

I understand in a way so i rang the shop, couldnt find my order for like 5mins and said the food went out on time and it not their fault .... this just went in circles and wouldnt apologies or explain y, so i said thats a shame then i will write a review and let ppl know how you treat customers.

Disappointed as i know shops has been hard through covid and dont want to do this to one and give them a chance because they had zero rating and then covid but nope the way they dealt with it, is not acceptable. So...
