VEGANATOMY — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

The owners were so friendly, open about their journey and provided such a great recommendation. I've never tried vegan sushi before and I was quite nervous about it but I asked for a recommendation based on what I knew I wouldn't like (spicy), and I was given a Rainbow sushi roll, and my wife was given the Dragon sushi roll. The atmosphere in the little shop was really lovely, everything is incredibly transparent, cooking the food in front of you with realistic wait expectations set when ordering. The shop is really clean and bright and it was wonderful to talk to the owner(s) who are very talented at creating a diverse and exotic menu! We ate a few pieces in the car because we were just so excited to try the very colourful and fresh offerings, and we were not disappointed!! The rolls were so fresh, you could taste every ingredient and it was an explosion of flavour with every bite. We managed to save most of it to go eat it on the beach....Looking out at the sea, eating such a fabulous lunch. I would 100% recommend to everyone and we will absolutely make the 30min journey to visit again - I want to work my way through their menu! Thank you so much!! You very talented and...

Small plant-based lunch spot - a must visit for vegan sushi fans.

Wonderful small business with lovely staff, banh mi’s and sushi. We had a salt and chilli special banh mi as well as the cucumber and avocado maki and both were excellent - you can see why the place is so highly rated and certainly worth a trip out from the centre for.

My photos haven’t done the food justice, the quality of bread for the banh mi hit us first, soft & fresh and filled with expertly-prepared toppings. The sushi was also freshly made to order and it really showed in the quality of the fresh veg and the rice.

Will definitely be coming again when back...

Really really impressed by this place. I have been here many times and always had a great experience. I've tried the banh mi, rice bowls and sushi. All have been delicious. I have taken friends here who have all enjoyed it too. Service is quick, the people who work here are friendly and welcoming. I'm not a vegetarian or vegan myself, but have always really enjoyed the food. The vegetables are fresh and tasty, and covered with lots of nice sauce. Another benefit is that I feel like I've eaten something which is actually good for me. It's one of my favourite takeaway places in Newcastle and I'd recommend it to anyone. Keep up...
