Just had dinner and drinks here with two friends, and I just had to leave a review- this has been one of the best meals ive had in a while and a half! Totally worth the visit!

Firtsly! Not only was wait non existant, but we were immediately welcomed and greeted by super friendly staff- for walking in out the pouring rain with no reservations this was really nice! We then got down to drinks, amazing cocktails that were spicy, sweet and refreshing! Seriously cocktail lovers youve got to try- something so new and so fun for your taste buds!

Then the food- I cannot tell you how good it was- Beyond. Words. The starters alone!! Do yourself a favour and try their cheese bakar- so good!!

The mains were even better- generous portions without busting your gut and as a veggie- great options!!! Not just the usual 3 options of leaf on plate! Varied, delicious, wonderfully seasoned food!! The two I was with had lamb and chicken and neither were disappointed!! So a great option for when trying to cater to a range of people's tastes!

Finally, at the end of the meal for three people, multiple cocktails between us, starters and mains? Barley £90! And that's before the tip!! Such great value for money on a meal that could definetly have been over priced at £30 - £40 quid more than that.

Over all- PLEASE TRY THIS RESTAURANT! you will not have...

After reading some promising reviews, we decided to try Canonic as a takeaway, but our experience was far from what we had hoped for. When we arrived, the door was held shut with a bar stool, and a handwritten sign on the glass read, “We are open.” Not exactly a welcoming start. Inside, one staff member was drinking a Coke behind the counter while another was unplugging an electric fire to hand out to customers because the place was freezing.

We placed our order and were told it would take 20 minutes. However, it was far too cold to wait inside, so we returned to our car. Despite the wait time we were given, the food took over half an hour to be ready.

When we arrived home, we found the extra bread we had requested and been charged for was missing. On top of that, the hummus was clearly off, leaving us feeling disappointed and frustrated.

We called to inform them about the spoiled hummus and missing bread, expecting some acknowledgment or apology. Instead, we were told, “Let me investigate and call you back.” The follow-up? A voucher offer. Why would we return to a place that served us spoiled food and didn’t fulfill our order in the first place?

Overall, the experience was disappointing from start to finish—cold, slow, unprofessional, and subpar food. We were genuinely excited to try this takeaway but left regretting...

Was excited to try Zenobia when I saw it was coming to chilly road and I can say wow I was not disappointed. Ran as an authentic Syrian restaurant with high quality grilled meats/veg/halloumi and a range of wraps, dips and salads. The food was very tasty and prepared to a high standard, the portion sizes were very generous and reasonably priced for the amount we received. Wraps with salad, chips and dips came to £11 and the grills ranged from 15-20£ for a single person 'platter'. As someone who grew up surrounded by Arab food this definitely was amongst the best I have tried, other "Turkish" restaurants simply cannot meet the flavour or quality provided here! Busy in the first few days as expected but looked after well whilst waiting for a table and attended to quickly and politely once sorted. Will definitely be making a return visit.

Zenobia’s food is absolutely delicious!! We had the charcoal chicken shish and chicken shawarma with halloumi. The chicken was packed with flavour and great portions. Quality and quantity! I would highly recommend this restaurant, the staff are courteous and friendly, especially Sotiris who took our order and had a bit of crack with us and made us feel really welcome. I’ve no doubt that he looks after everyone that walks through the door! Also, I highly recommend the Dubai chocolate pistachio kaitifi cheesecake!! This was heavenly, I didn’t want it to end! I’m still thinking it now and I’ll definitely be back here for more food, couldn’t recommend it more!!
