My wife and I have been staying in the Great North Children’s Hospital for approx 4 weeks as our Daughter has been an patient on Ward 1b. We’ve used the Costa quite a bit but have to say the Staff are not the most welcoming I’ve ever come across. Their demeanour borders on miserable and manners are a little lacking. Eye-rolling is also prevalent among the staff, we’re going home in 2 days and it can’t come quick enough. The amount of negativity that oozes from that place is just too much when you’ve got a poorly child who is getting assessed for brain surgery. Cheer up, things can’t be that bad. There are 2Arrigo shops in the R.V. I., both trade 7days a week.
