Appalling Customer Service especially from the female staff. Worse KFC I have ever been to. Don’t bother Visiting, you’ll regret it.
I visited KFC Wallsand on Sunday 30th July 2023 for the first time with my friend to pickup a delivery. Upon entering the restaurant, I met the most rude and disrespectful customer attendant ever. I pulled out a phone to ask if the order was ready as my friend was still busy struggling to get a car park, to my greatest surprise the Lady didn’t even look at the phone or check the order number. She simply said there was no available order and I just have to wait. I asked her how long it will take, she just said I don’t know!! Without any explanation or apology or even speaking to me nicely. She was just showing off attitude and I waited for 15mins and asked again for an update, she said they are still cooking the chicken and that it takes 30mins to cook again without any apology.
After some few minutes, my friend was able to get a car park and she came to the restaurant to pick up the order and I narrated everything to her. She went and questioned them and they said the chicken was taking time to cook and they said I can’t collect the order on my friend’s behalf which wasn’t the case as I was only there to check on the order and also hurry them up while my friend gets a car park and comes for pick up. Less than 5mins after my friend enter the restaurant, the chicken was now ready, they packed it and handed it over to her and we left.
I thought that ended the matter, only for my friend to go back there on the 1st of August 2023 to pick up another order and they were accusing me of using someone’s identity to come pick up an order, they also said I have done that before meanwhile that visit on the 30th of July 2023 was my first time visiting the restaurant.
I can’t imagine that a customer service person will accuse a customer of identity theft even when my friend who has the phone and the account was with me. Not only that, she also said I have visited multiple times meanwhile that was my first time at the restaurant.
I don’t think this is the kind of service anyone deserves to get from big brand like KFC. She was being rude, arrogant and disrespectful and for me visiting KFC Wallsand for the first time, that was a terrible experience. Read moreOrdered on Uber eats. Other completely wrong. Missing 3 items totalling £9, burger in one of the meals was wrong. Only noticed burger was incorrect after sending the feedback to Uber about the missing items. Took several attempts to reach the store as ignoring calls and then couldn’t get back through to them regarding the burger. Uber refunded £3.90 and there is no way to contest this further with Uber. I’ve ordered from other KFC places and never had this issue before. Avoid.

Unfortunately since I ordered through Uber I was told I can’t claim a refund for missing items from the store and Uber do not refund you the full value of the missing items. I spent £45 on an order and didn’t end up eating as my food was missing or incorrect. I will no longer be using Uber eats but the issue lies with the store for packing the order incorrectly in the first place. I have used Uber eats for years and never ever had an order so drastically wrong from any fast food place. Kick in the teeth is the order list is taped to the front of the delivery bag. Read moreDull leaderless children unhappy at work. This is based on 80 visits over 3 years and I've had to walk out most of the time. When you've got six staff at the front of the shop talking absolute rubbish to eachother and lot's of customers waiting and what looks to be one cook then to be told as you waited for 10 minutes that it will be half an hour then you kind of want to become the manager and strip away the pointless nail varnished brats and get a someone who wants to actually take pride in delivering "fast food". This is the store that was famous for having the rat run around in the shop BUT personally I think the reviewer couldn't be BOTHERED to go into this much detail.. I'm finding KFC to have a MAJOR problem at it's highest level in recruitment.. Whoever is in charge at the most senior level needs to go and it's as simple as that. I love a two piece colonel with gravy but I'm yet to find a shop in the northeast that can just DO IT..
