Food and coffee is generally good however I went last week with my baby in her pram and was immediately refused at the door to bringing the pram in, being quoted as ‘ a health and safety risk’ This I can just about, understand if the coffee shop was busy however it was a quiet morning with only two people currently in and plenty of space I thought for a pram temporarily. I questioned the health and safety to which I was told it’s a trip hazard. Very curious as to how other customers attend this coffee shop who Require various mobility aids to mobilise… I totally get the size of the coffee shop when BUSY, however I felt the staff member could have articulated this with more understanding and thought into the rationale, & some flexibility on the issue . Sad to have experienced this in a coffee shop we would have...
Read moreHaving stayed in Bangor recently, I walked past this place a couple of times and was curious, so I had a look on here and saw people recommending the squeaky cheese. I decided to dander over on a Sunday to order this dish and a coffee. Omg, I am so glad I did. The tastiest brunch I've had in a while, no question. Beautiful fresh sourdough, topped with avocado, halloumi, poached eggs, sunflower seeds, balsamic drizzle, and more - it was an explosion of taste and it was devoured in minutes! I chose to take out because it's a small place and I thought I probably wouldn't get a table on a Sunday, but when I called in there were a couple of tables, so it would be worth chancing it! The coffee was also lovely, as were the staff who served me. I will making a point to come back here next time I'm...
Read moreThis is a very small quaint coffee shop. We visited just before 3 on a Sunday and got a seat but it only seats 12. Although it says open until 4, be warned, they stop serving hot food (gourmet toasted sandwiches) at 3 so you can only get a traybake. I saw different customers who came in minutes after 3 and left. Also be warned, if you like more unusual buns, such as blondies, carmelitas, then you will be fine. If you are looking for caramel squares or rocky roads, then it won't be for you. Staff were lovely and place is quirky. Maybe for a younger...
