Firstly I was promised a call from the manager last night, four days later I am still waiting.
We got a leaflet through our door and we thought we'd give this place a go. I ordered through the app which I thought was good initially as it is very professional in appearance.
The first thing to go wrong once i'd ordered the food was there was a discount code for 10% on the flier which I entered and was told it had expired. I though fair enough that wont put me off.
The countdown clock completed its count after 39 minutes and we waited. After an hour and 10 minutes I tried to ring to see where it was, but the bangor branch (which has a Lisburn number by the way) would not answer so I rang the Lisburn road branch to see if they could give me any assistance they were very unhelpful indeed basically just said that's the number ring it.
So disgruntled I persisted on the Bangor number eventually getting through, I told the girl who answered I wasn't happy that it was now 1h 20 mins since I ordered and could they advise as to when we might expect it? "its with the driver now" she replied she's on the way.
Another ten minutes passed and still no sign so I rang back, asking again where it was this time quite annoyed. " its with the driver it'll be there any second"
OK I thought,
Another 10 minutes passed and I rang back really quite furious at this point, the same girl answered and when I asked her she asked " do you want me to ask the driver where she is?" as she was scoffing almost chuckling down the phone and really couldn't care less.
At this point the driver arrived and came to the door as I put down the phone, I asked her at the door "how long ago did you leave with the food? " not even 10 minutes ago" she replied.
I thanked her and took the order inside, to which we discovered the food was cold and with items missing from the order.
I rang back, eventually getting through, incredibly dissatisfied and very annoyed at being lied to on numerous occasions and by the shoddy service and standard of food which arrived with us. I asked for the missing items to be refunded as I had prepaid through the app, and we didn't want them now, to which I was told no, as there is no manager here tonight. I wanted to speak to a manager and was promised a call on Monday morning in order to discuss the matter, but nobody has called, this just shows what little regard they have for their customers!
I find this absolutely disgraceful / unacceptable I will NEVER be a customer of this place again and I certainly will be advising everyone I meet to avoid this very poorly run establishment, especially now that they have made no attempt to contact me to rectify the matter.

On this occasion, food took 1 hour 55 mins to arrive, a full hour late, yes it was icy and I understand if that was a reason but I tried phoning 4 times to no answer. If I'd been told up front 2 hours that wouldnt have been a deal-breaker but an hour late on the delivery time given left me thinking it just wasn't coming.
Then when it did arrive it was warm so had just been made which was great but I'd ordered a rice dish which was stodgy (including big clumps of white rice when the rest of dish had the sauce) with less flavour than I'd experienced in the past with this dish so blander than I expected, beef was chewy then I like crunchy veg but the brocolli was a bit too crunchy for me. The starter we ordered was ok except the dipping sauce which was the saltiest thing I've ever tried.
I see management often reply here saying to contact them. There's no point if they never pick up the phone and to be honest I'll just not order again. Wish I'd read the reviews...
Read moreJasmine rice was both undercooked and burnt, completely inedible. Spice bag had a chemically metal taste, probably from a finished wok, again completely inedible.
I understand that anywhere can have an off night, but when we called to explain the problem we were told there’s no point ordering the food again because it’ll take too long and other customers have been complaining about the same thing so it’ll probably taste the same anyway… we agreed we’d settle for a full refund with the receptionist, but that this would need to be confirmed by the manager.
Manager called the following day, essentially accused us of lying about the issues we had with the food and said there wouldn’t be any refund because they fixed it and other customers weren’t complaining anymore!
Unless they absolutely nailed the lunch service I don’t know how other customers not complaining between 7pm Sunday and 7pm Monday has anything to do with the service we received.
