On arriving this place looks shabby and a bit run down, then you realise this is the look they are going for. We were greeted with a smile and taken to a table very quickly. Handed a couple of menus and drinks order was taken, sadly not told the soup of the day. We picked up what the soup of the day was from overhearing the waiter telling the table next to us. Drinks arrived at the table and food order was taken, we opted for the large chicken wings to share as a starter. I ordered a burger with chip for my mains and a portion of chickhen goujons with chips was ordered for the 2nd mains. Have had the chicken wings here before and as like the last time this portion did not let us down. A good sized portion smothered in a barbecue sauce very tasty. Shortly after finishing our starters are main courses came to the table. Sadly I wish I had of opted for the chicken goujons myself as they were very tasty. The burger was a bit of a let down very dry burger bun and the burger itself was a bit dried out. Overall impressions of the rabbit room are very good just sadly a little bit let down this time...

The only burger I'll eat! They have great toppings and they ask you how they want it cooked because they make the burgers fresh. They have great sweet potatoes fries as well. My husband loves the one with bacon and I love the one with brie. There's always great beer of the month and an excellent selection of Northern Irish and international microbrews. And great whiskey! They have an extensive whiskey menu and a membership card. Gotta catch em all ;) Also the decoration is creative and fun. And the artwork, from local artists is for sale. We've bought two paintings there. I'm a huge fan of Rabbit Rooms. It's an ideal way to finish up a...

I visited the Rabbit Rooms when in Bangor over Easter after reading some of the very positive online reviews. The service was good however, I ordered the burger and the meat was tightly packed and didn't taste homemade. The burger was also burnt to a crisp and I had to send it back to the kitchen. It was also so hot it could only have been re-nuked in a microwave oven. The replacement burger was slightly less burnt but still had that intense microwave heat. How can you get something as simple as a burger that wrong? A very disappointing...

Pleasent place to eat and drink staff were very friendly and the food was hot and tasty what more can you ask Surf and turf burger, I think it is tall enough now, and the mussel pots starters are great if you like them A medium is big enough for 2.

Drinks only today, however, may try their food at a later visit. Very friendly place, with fantastic staff and great, unobtrusive music: Ash, Joy Division, The Cure, Thin Lizzy, New Order. As I visit pubs mostly to drink, the Guinness was superb.
