Just tried it for the very first time with my fella. The decor looked inviting & unique, but also calm & warm so it wasn't a too over-exciting atmosphere. The service overall from the staff was fantastic; welcoming, polite & thorough. However, the food itself was a bit of a let down. Variety of the different foods seemed slightly less like a buffet & more like a standard chain restaurant. I had stir-fry mushrooms, lamb on the bone, onion rings and some noodles with some vegetables; there weren't many other options I would have considered. The onion rings were too soft for my taste & lacked a bit of flavour I would normally expect from a restaurant, and after a few bites I couldn't stick to eating any more of it. Nothing wrong with the lamb; just a bit too spicy for my tastebuds personally. The noodles & mushrooms however were lovely. With regards to dessert, not as many options as I would have hoped for once again as a buffet but there was also some fruits that were quite lovely. I tried 4 of the different desserts with some peaches. Safe to say that now I like peaches so I will definitely be adding peaches to my likeable foods list, but the 2 mousses (chocolate & strawberry), tirasimu & chocolate cake were a bit of a let down; either too strong, texture was a bit off or a bit bland for me. Therefore, I rate 4 out of 5 for my first time.

We were so excited to visit Cosmo having been to one elsewhere before. We had a rather tight timeline due to having to catch a train, so got to the restaurant just before 5pm and was surprised to see such a queue. We were worried that we might not get to sample the delights. Likely come 5 the queue moved quickly. It appeared very well organised, whilst we waited inside briefly, we were soon directed up the escalator. Upon arrival at the top, we had a very good input as to how the restaurant worked, we paid and directed to our table. The staff were super helpful, friendly and attentive. There were plenty of posters advertising a birthday special, if your birthday is within the month of your visit between September and 2nd November 2023, you get your meal free. Although there was only two of us, it meant we could get one free. Food.. the food was lovely.. so much choice. The freshly cooked food section was fabulous.. loved the seafood options, actual king prawns, the salmon was amazing and he calamari superb too. I wasn't keen on the shredded Duck nor the Roast Gammon. Our least favourite section was the desserts.. whilst they looked good.. they didnt taste great, not even the tubs of ice cream. We would return if in the area.. certainly something for everyone here.

I recently visited Cosmo that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, with a warm and friendly staff ready to assist. The layout was spacious, allowing for easy movement between the various food stations, which is always a plus in a buffet setting. The selection of food was impressive, featuring a diverse array of cuisines.I started with salad section, looks fresh and tasty. The main course options were plentiful, ranging from classic comfort foods like fried chicken and mac and cheese to more exotic dishes like sushi and curries. Indian curries and nan is my fav! In Chinese section i tasted all of them, was nice !. Live kitchen was so amazing , squid and salmon was very yummy with spicy and garlic sauce. I loved Pizza as well, The dessert section was a highlight , cakes, pastries, and even a chocolate fountain that was a hit with everyone. Overall, my experience at Cosmo was fantastic. The combination of great food, attentive service, and a pleasant environment made for a memorable dining experience. I would highly recommend Cosmo Norwich to anyone looking to enjoy a variety of delicious dishes in one place. Thank you Cosmo

Been here 3 times now and each time gets more disappointing. First it took 10 minutes to be asked for drinks, and then a further 15 for drinks to be given. The chicken left us with food poisoning after our second visit here, and on the 3rd time noticed some pink in the chicken. The food quality was not good. I found myself at the buffet not fancying anything. When I asked about a discount I was entitled to, a staff member by the bar got hostile and refused it. Also, every time I have visited, the ice cream machine has been broken, and the dessert options are very poor. I think there are much nicer restaurants nearby to go to instead - that won’t make you ill! Update: I came back again tonight, was put right in the far corner, and not once during my hour and 10 minute stay did a server come to us to ask for drinks or take our plates. We were unbelievably shocked, and also observed how the food quality depletes as it gets later in the evening. Curry sauce was water, noodles were oily and flavourless, extremely disappointing. We weren’t thanked on leaving or asked how our food was

Great food, very tasty and freshly cooked hot, but I did go when they were very busy to be fair. Some of the drink machine flavours had run out, so the choice there was limited. If it wasn't for the cutlery I'd have given this only my second full score, but the handles on them were round and very slim, meaning they kept spinning found in your hand, very frustrating on all mouthfuls, and there was no option of using a dessert spoon, I had had to pinch some off a cart that was momentarily abandoned. I did look everywhere and could see all other available cutlery that was out, which left me a bit confused, but the solution soon presented itself 😁

Great place to get together with like-minded friends and family. Really good value and soooo many choices. Hot food was lovely and hot. Plenty of time to enjoy the food, and to try out some foods we hadn't tried before. Was a bit noisy for chatting, but well worth a visit. Would recommend this place. Please book ahead.
