Grounded — Restaurant in Norwich

Just come across this new coffee bar (grounded) on unthank rd. What a lovely little gem I have just found. I decided on a mocha, and let’s just say it was amazing. Also on offer were a selection of cakes, all of which looked scrumptious. The staff were so inviting and polite, and the decor of the shop, was so cool and chilled. Obviously a lot of thought, and energy has gone into the planing of this coffee bar. I Will definitely be retuning , very soon to try out the different types of coffee, and obviously next time one of those cakes has my name on it. Lovely independent coffee shop with sweet and savoury snacks.

Lady owner is lovely and chatty and obviously a strong part of the community as she seems to know or wave to everyone.

Fabulous clean toilet.

My favourite place for a latte, hot chocolate if cold outside or sparkling elderflower with ice when warm on the unthank road with a great window seat or the outside seating tables chairs and benches .

I’ve even had business meetings up at the back which is lovely and quiet. Grounded even now have their own parking at the back.

Maybe an off day but the flat white wasn't a flat white at all, no microfoam at all or any latte art. Watery and burnt. Unsure whether any of the other reviews genuinely know what 'speciality' or 'artisan' coffee is supposed to taste like.
