The Yard Coffee — Restaurant in Norwich

I walked in and ordered an hazelnut iced latte. The person who took my order was outstandingly friendly. Me and my friend sat at a table. With one chair however the person who took my order went out of his way to get me a chair. Excellent customer service. Now the hazelnut iced latte was brilliant. It tasted amazing. Honestly the best iced latte I have had ever. I am so appreciative that I found this place and decided to order. I even noticed a basket of blankets all nearly folded saying "be comfortable! Take one if needed" or something like that which I honestly thought was so amazing and so cute. The place was really busy! But surprisingly calm and relaxing. I even saw a back area labelled "comfortable seating" which I wished I explored. The whole place is a 5/5 I really recommend to everyone else who needs a coffee or breakfast or even a snack. One of my favourite coffee spots in Norwich! I’ve never had the food here but it always looks and smells gorgeous!

The coffee is currently from strangers (lush!) and it’s definitely on the stronger/flavourful side but that’s the way I like it! Lots of vegan options too.

Wonderful spot to meet friends for coffee regularly/ read with a book in the quieter areas / do a spot of work. Particularly love their coffee specials (the After Eight Hot Chocolate around Christmas was divine) and the baristas that always greet you with a friendly smile. Plenty of seating. Also very mum / breastfeeding friendly which is important to me.
