HotVille Nottingham has complete disregard for looking at notes on Uber eats and Customer Instructions , A Nightmare Experience!!!! If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. Twice now, theyāve completely ignored my instructions, and itās not just an inconvenience itās a serious health risk!! The first time I ordered, I specifically requested NO mac and cheese due to my cheese allergy. What did they do? They included it anyway. No problem, mistakes happen and human errors occur, so I called the restaurant to explain the issue. I was polite and clear about the allergy, and they assured me they would look at the notes in future and make sure it wouldnāt happen again. They acted like they cared, but I guess that was just for show, because today it happened AGAIN. This isnāt just carelessness itās negligence. I am aware of the food allergy notice on Uber eats hence asking them to remove certain items from orders, How can a food establishment who has a few branches be this incompetent and reckless, especially when it comes to something as serious as food allergies? Do they not train their staff on how to handle customer requests, or do they just not care? Itās honestly terrifying to think that a restaurant could ignore something that could send someone to the hospital. Itās not just about the food either. The customer service was horrendous. When I called the first time, they made it seem like I was the problem for having to explain my allergy, just a quick āweāll fix it next time.ā Well, guess what? You didnāt! You failed miserably again, and I wonāt be risking my health to give you a third chance. For future customers If you have any allergies or care about getting your order right, STAY AWAY from Hotville located on Alfreton road. They clearly donāt take food safety seriously, and their attention to detail is non-existent. The fact that theyāve made the same mistake twice shows they either donāt bother reading order notes, or they just donāt care about their customers well-being. Either way, itās unacceptable and dangerous. I wouldnāt trust them with the most basic order, let alone something that could seriously impact your health. This restaurant doesnāt deserve your money. Itās a ticking time bomb waiting to cause someone serious harm, and I sincerely hope they get their act together before something tragic happens. A total disaster from start to finish, avoid this restaurant like the plague. I will also be posting this on social...
Read moreDecided to go Hotvillle for lunch today. Upon arrival there was a lunch menu advertised outside on a board so I thought it would be a good place to start. I asked the lady about the lunch menu and she had no idea considering it was right outside and visible from where she was standing. I pointed to the board outside, she was confused so she asked the chief in the back. He responded back with a photo of the board on his phone as he wasn't aware what was the lunch menu. The lady wasn't very helpful nor was she very welcoming. Having placed an order for a burger which was around £5 but doesn't come with chips. So decided I'll order a few things and ordered the burger, loaded fries and a portion of wings. After a very slow and lengthy wait, considering we were the only customers inside for a while, the food finally arrived. To no surprise the food was cold except for the chicken wings which were mildly warm. What was really strange was, the wings were placed on a slice of toast. I looked at my wife, all confused what is that about. I removed the wings and there was a buttered toasted slice of bread.
Because the food was cold I had no choice to pick my food up, take it home and warm it up. Like any takeaway, it's best to eat it fresh and hot. If you warm it up, it looses that essence and kills the pleasure of having a takeaway. It was a totally unpleasant experience and will not be popping back. The burger was small, and the fact that it never came with fires for the prices was a let down. Compared to it's competitors I think this place needs to rethink it's prices, staff and...
Ā Ā Ā Read more3 Visits over in the space of 1 month. Visit one, waited about 15 minutes for food, hot tasty, moist with a very thin crispy coating unlike most chicken coatings which quite thick. So nice that I recommended it to my wife and we both went a couple of weeks later. Visit 2, we went in as soon as it opened although behind one other customer, it took 35 minutes to cook 2 pieces of chicken and 7 wings which considering our queue position is very poor, however even though the chicken was now covered in a more traditional thick coating it was still excellent food. I recommended that my daughter accompany me for Visit 3, oh dear! again one customer in front of us, we waited 46 minutes for the order and when we got home (just a minute or so away) the chicken coating was extremely greasy, the meat was bone dry and inedible, the prawns were also dried up and inedible. having spent some time waiting for the order and then mulling things over at home I realised they were batch cooking, so they would cook one item in a batch and share it out between orders, then move onto another item and when cooked would add that to the order and so on which explains why most of the food was so bad, and also answered the question in my head during the wait as to why food was left in an open box on a hot plate for over 25 minutes before being place with other items in a delivery bag, I'm sorry but I wont be revisiting again. photo one dry chicken , photo2 greasy, photo 3 dry prawns, photo 4 the amount that was thrown away from the 2...
