KFC Nottingham - Daleside Road — Restaurant in Nottingham

I had to give this place a star else you cant review. But it doesn't deserve one. I visited here last night. 2 customers waiting orders, 1 customer being served. Time 21:13. A MALE member of staff was telling the girl serving that there has to be a cut of time on which they stop selling. In front of the customer she was serving. Girl in front of me paid for her order. The girl serving went behind the serving area at the back of the store. The came back some time later and gas e one of the waiting customer their order. The then went around the back of the store and carried on preparing the next customers order. When this has done this she came back to the front and handed food to three next customer. In the meantime 2 other customers came into the shop and were waiting behind me. One of them spoke to me and told me that they were slow to serve in this store. I replied that I'd been waiting for 15 mins to place my order. At this point the girl front of house was dealing with a customers drink, and she overheard the conversation but made no attempt to engage with us. After the girl had given the girl she served on my arrival their food. I then had to ask if they were still serving food. She said yes and finally my order was taken time 21:33. 20 minutes to place an order with no customers in front of me is shocking. To make matters worse customers had to step over 2 black rubbish bags that were laying on the floor directly in front of the public food collection area. The customer behind me offered to move them and was told by the girl that she was in the process of moving them but had got side tracked by orders and hadn't got around to dealing with it. In the condiments area there were no serviets. I asked the girl if there were any servi said something offensive or was taken aback add she now has to do something basic. I had to wait until she had served 2 customers behind me before she went out the back and the returned and handed me about a dozen serviettes. I mentioned that I only needed a couple but she just disappeared around the back again. No attempt to come to the front to fill serviette holders or remove rubbish bags. I even had time to photo rubbish bags. When I had left the shop I looked back in and no attempt to clear bags had taken place and there were no more customers. Place needs to address staff issues or replace them with people that have service industry skills as this place lacks them securely. Will be writing to KFC directly as it is by far the worst I've ever...

Avoid This one! Horrible smell of bins in the car park almost made us not go in, I wish we had headed it's warning. When we got inside we were faced with a scene of rubbish and half eaten food and drink all over the floor and 3-4 tables. Pools of pepsi, wrappers, bones and fries spread across the floor, making it impossible for other customers to use that area until it was cleaned up. It looked like there had been a fight or incident. When I asked about it a staff member said it was some guys who come in regularly and always do that! I asked why they didn't bar them for their antisocial behaviour and they said they were paying customers and they could not do or say anything. Massive failing on managements part, their staff should not feel that they should be subject to anti social behaviour and accept it. The clearing up didn't start till we had been there about half an hour, not even a warning sign put up by staff until one employee starting their shift walked in and and immediately fetched the warning signs. Other employees were not even bothered about the potential safety risk to customers from the wet tiles floor and wold sort it "when they got round to it". Another failing by the management team for failing to instill the importance of keeping their customers safe and standard HSE practices. Whoever had done the ordering needs to look at it again as they had run out of corn and beans only had chips and coleslaw as sides, and it was only a Saturday night too, disappointed in that and the chicken was a bit soggy. This place is so badly run, it's a joke! Moved nearby in March and thought great as If we ever have a takeout KFC is my son's fave however, the drive through que is always so long and takes ages to get served? We once waited 20 mins at the ordering speaker after someone over the speaker asked me if I could be a little patient and wait a couple minutes as they were busy. Fine (I couldn't go anywhere anyway, I was in the drive through que) Only to find out 20 MINUTES LATER that they didn't have any fillets or gravy, which happens occasionally however, this place NEVER has gravy! Unfortunate for my son as his go-to KFC meal is the Gravy mega box. The last straw for me was when I went back a couple of weeks after this place had got my order completely wrong, (ironically, the one time they did have gravy they forgot to put it in my son's gravy box order) as well as other missing items. when we got home I called the store and they apologised and offered to replace the whole order on my next visit, gave me a code and asked me to save my receipt to produce when I return. Upon my return I was told that they were only going to give me the Gravy mega box as this was all that was written down in their book. When i asked them to speak with the manager who I spoke with they told me that he has left and they would not be able to honour what I was initially offered as they could not confirm this information.
