LOLAS coffee — Restaurant in Nottingham

Edit: I tried again, had a coffee in a couple of weeks ago. Perfect.

Just bought a flat white to go this morning. Took it back to office and it tasted of dishsoap!!! Proper harsh floral chemical aroma. Had to throw it away and make an instant coffee. Maybe check you are wiping down the steamer with a clean cloth with no detergent on? Shame as I was hoping to make this my regular cafe. Will try again another day as everything seemed so nice, atmosphere etc. But coffee had to be...

Good experience with the facilities, but not with the time of having 2 coffees (10 minutes) and a normal sandwich, which took like 35 minutes.

The guy was alone, and no customers at all to understand he was busy. I asked to take a picture of me and my colleagues and he said he was alone and busy, so rude. a few minutes later he was standing at the back of the counter doing...

Decent coffee, but tuna melt was shocking. It was served with one half falling to pieces (the crust section was dry) and the filling was just a smear of tuna and mayo in the centre of the sandwich. I don't know how they thought this was acceptable to serve- especially after a 25 min wait. If you want a coffee and place to work for a bit, this seems like it fits the bill, but...
