Not sure where to start. We booked the table for 8 pm and once arrived the place was nearly full. We got, I called it "naughty table". The size and location were silly. A little corner table for two right at the bottom of the stairs and at the passage. More for "eat quick and go". Nearly touched someone else's back, once they arrived. Everything squished like sardines in the can. The place is not big in general, and so the amount of staff was crazy high. Each of them served us during the evening. They were all very friendly though, in particular a young Hungarian girl. She was lovely, and I appreciate her interaction with clients. As someone with 8 years of experience in the restaurant, I understand how important this is and how a simple interaction like this attracts people. Food arrived quickly. It was good, but I would expect more from a Michelin Star restaurant. My impression is that the food was adapted to the English taste, so not as extraordinary as I would expect. The mushrooms were tasteful and crunchy, really good, and the churros were fresh and soft and served with delicious chocolate. However, I was disappointed not to see any vegan options on the menu. I would appreciate more vegetables without dairy addition. I do not fancy marshmallows, but the strawberries served with a marshmallow sort of dip were exquisite. Generally, a bit too expensive for the amount of food we ordered, limited menu with a lack of real Spanish cuisine and a lack of vegan options. I am sure I won't be coming back soon, unless unintentionally. Ah, nearly forgot to mention that a reservation is required, especially during...

We went to Iberico for my parents anniversary dinner tonight. We hadn’t made a reservation as we were visiting family and unsure of what time we’d finish but were assured earlier that we’d get a table on a weekday night without a problem. We showed up at 5:05 to a completely empty restaurant and were met by a manager who looked unimpressed by us and clearly didn’t think much about not having a reservation. We were told we could only sit in the higher tier of the restaurant closer to the front door. We asked if it was possible to sit somewhere in the actual restaurant and were promptly told ALL spaces were booked so it wasn’t possible with no flexibility. We left at 6:50 and the ENTIRE restaurant was still empty with the exception of a table for two. My mum asked about this since we were declined a table and the manager was EXTREMELY aggressive, called my mother disrespectful, and even followed us out of the building yelling!

As for the food…. It was just ok. Maybe once they got a Michelin mention they thought they could justify the price but it was clearly expensive for what is was. I’ve had much better tapas (and food in general) for way less money and the cocktails were also weak. I’m not really sure how they’ve gotten quite so many good reviews. The thick sauces covered any real culinary skill (similar to a good Chinese takeaway)

We obviously will not be returning and I will be letting all my friends and family in Nottingham know. I will say our wait staff was extremely friendly and...

During a Saturday day out with girlfriends (pre-booked thinking the winter wonderland would be opening but it wasn’t!!!) we’d seen the good reviews for Iberico works tapas but it was a good walk from the station. So we went bar to bar looking at their menus for an alternative place for a light bite. However, nothing looked suitable … so we made it to Iberico JUST in time to be let in for the end of lunch service ..ā€if you order quicklyā€. We were so incredibly pleased to made it in time as the staff were absolutely charming, the food incredibly delicious, the cocktails fantastically tasty!! No exaggeration here … the vegan and carnivores were equally happy. We ended up with a booth seat for three which was also fab because the restaurant was otherwise busy and there seemed to be some tables close together - all be it I realised one area was a larger group across three tables. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant anyone who is a foodie or drinker and the disappointment of not having winter wonderland was absolutely forgotten… I’ll come back here next time I’m in Nottingham but just remember to book or get here in better time!! (Express menu made it...

Had an absolutely scrumptious meal here. Every single dish was delicious and packed with flavour, particular shout out goes to the spring greens, my taste buds were dancing. The cocktails were really good as well, the blue moon over Tokyo shone, it was a fruity, sherbet packed delight. The setting is very cute and cosy, it's like a converted, low lit cave. Staff were very friendly. At first they were serving us one dish at a time with like 5 mins between them which I much preferred as it was like a tasting menu almost and gave us time to enjoy and savour each one while it was fresh and hot.

Really delicious tapas restaurant, the nearest thing Nottingham has to the excellent Barrafina. We visited for an evening meal and thoroughly enjoyed it. We skipped bread and nibbles and went straight for the tapas, ordering six between us which was just the right amount. The pork belly in spicy sauce was great, as was the kale with ajoblanco and the peppers stuffed with spinach. Desserts and wine were really good too and for just over £80 for the lot it was pretty good value. This was our first visit to Iberico World Tapas but hopefully it won't be our last.

I would love to give it a 5 stars, the food was amazing and the service even better from the kind attentive staff, but unfortunately my food here gave me severe food poisoning to the point where my family had to call 111 because I couldn’t keep liquids down. This was nearly the worst pain I’ve felt in my life. I have never before had food poisoning but that’s what the doctor said was the cause. We have come to the conclusion that it most likely would have been the beef or the fish as those are the two dishes my partner hadn’t eaten and I had. Such a shame.
