It was busy as it was a Saturday and sports were on the large tv. There were hen parties down in the Bierkeller basement, but the garden had a drunk flasher at 4pm. Grim! Also the lack of toilet paper and then no locks on the majority of the doors is an invasion of privacy. Needs fixing.

What a spot to get a drink!!! Great prices and service. Have never eaten as the menu doesnt have enough choice for my liking. Its got 3 floors and each floor has its own vibe. I personally spend time on the 3rd floor sports bar. Comfy chairs, big screens and cold beer!!!

Myself and my friend came in for drinks last Friday night. We asked for double spirit and mixer with the student deal, I believe this was meant to be £3.75. We never got asked for proof, I assume the bar tender just took our word for it and believed us. However, we did have proof which we would have been happy to show. I was charged the correct price, however my friend was charged around £12 for the two drinks. This was an honest mistake, it happens, no fault of the original bartender who served us. My friend questioned this and she apologised and said next time she could get a cheaper drink the next time due to the overcharge. My friend then went up, to be shouted at rudely by a blonde woman, hair half up, half down in a black long sleeved top. My friend calmly explained the other bartender stated she could get the cheaper drink, however ignored this and kept insisting she had to prove she was a student, despite never being asked to show proof in the first place. My friend also tried to explain that I had been charged cheaper for the student deal but wasn’t having any of it and continued to rudely shout at my friend saying proof should have been provided. We were happy to do this if we were asked to. I also appeared to notice her glaring at the two of us and whispering to another bartender. Working in retail myself, I believe she was extremely unprofessional and rude and clearly isn’t working in the right job if she thinks treating customers like this is acceptable. It didn’t ruin our night as such and we would still return as the bar is a good atmosphere and the rest of the staff working there were all brilliant. However, I believe this one staff member needs a bit of customer...

I attended Nottingham Bierkeller on the 11th March 2023 and I believe my experience wasn't pleasant considering it wasn't overly busy.

We were greeted by the bouncers on the door, who I must say were the friendliest security staff I have ever come across who informed use where the football would be displayed.

At the start of the Man City vs Crystal Palace match, approximately 2 minutes into the game we ordered our food which was a stone baked Margherita pizza, a Meat feast Pizza and Loaded Fries. Upon the half time of the match, my partner questioned the bar as to where the food was considering we had seen no food go out yet, including ours. At which the bar member replied with "I'll go and check on that for you". Straight away he went out the back and brought the food out to us which wasn't even warm and it was clear the food had been sat left cold, not even under a heat lamp to keep it warm. With this we had no napkins or condiments brought out either.

The loaded fries I believe were approximately £8.00 for pulled pork which had maybe 4 strings of pulled pork, smothered in BBQ sauce and topped with crispy onions. I can't even justify this amount considering there are other venues at which you'd get a higher quality. I understand I'm talking about Bierkeller, yet the food was not even enjoyable.

The staff didn't even check whether we were okay with the food, considering it had arrived late, and we didn't receive an apology either.

I wouldn't mind yet as a student who is spending her wages in a venue and paying £28.00 for food, and a few rounds of soft drinks, I am...

Came in here for a nice night out and was immediately met with rude security staff. The man that let us in was lovely but the female security guard was on a power trip and started to shove my friend when there was so much room to move behind her! My friend made a comment about not appreciating it and the bouncer then replied “you got something to say to me?”. About an hour later a girl had started on me and was pulling my hair, but the bouncer came straight for me and even with cooperation she was still on her high horse digging her claws into me! I understand that they can’t be watching everyone at all times, but it seemed as though she had already picked her fight with me when we were minding our business! This security guard needs bringing back down to earth and remember that she’s supposed to stop the fights not start them. When we’d got outside we had to basically beg for them to take the other girl out, because if my night can be ruined, so can hers. I’d tried to explain my side and they were treating me like some out of order drunk when I was completely sober! Not to mention letting grown men square up to girls, the bouncers from the club across the road had to step in and did more than anyone...
