I strongly agree that this the best pho place in town. Certainly! Here’s a detailed 1000-word review on a hypothetical pho restaurant:

A Flavorful Journey at Pho Hoa: A Review

If you’re a fan of hearty, flavorful broths, tender meats, and aromatic herbs, Pho Hoa is a destination you should not miss. Located in the heart of the city, this unassuming gem delivers one of the most authentic pho experiences you can find outside of Vietnam. From the moment you step through the door, Pho Hoa offers a welcoming atmosphere, efficient service, and a menu that brims with tantalizing options.

Ambiance: A Cozy Refuge

Pho Hoa is located in a bustling part of town, surrounded by a variety of eateries, but the moment you enter the restaurant, you’re transported to a cozy, warm space that feels inviting and familiar. The decor is simple and clean, with traditional Vietnamese touches such as bamboo screens, wooden tables, and large colorful murals of Vietnamese landscapes. The natural light streaming in through large windows adds to the airy ambiance, creating a peaceful environment to enjoy your meal.

While the restaurant does not boast lavish décor, its charm lies in its authenticity and modesty. The focus is clearly on the food, and rightly so. The warm and friendly staff immediately greet you upon entering, guiding you to your seat and offering a brief but informative rundown of the menu. The service is consistently attentive, with staff always available to offer recommendations or refills, yet never overbearing.

The Pho: The Heart of the Experience

The highlight of any visit to Pho Hoa is, without a doubt, the pho itself. Pho is the national dish of Vietnam and Pho Hoa’s take on it showcases both the simplicity and complexity of this beloved dish. The restaurant serves several varieties of pho, ranging from the classic Pho Tai (with rare beef) to Pho Ga (chicken pho) and Pho Bo Vien (with beef meatballs).

The star of the show is undoubtedly the Pho Tai. The broth is a rich, clear, and aromatic base that has been simmered for hours, extracting every bit of flavor from beef bones, herbs, and spices. As you take your first spoonful, you’re immediately enveloped in a delicate balance of savory, slightly sweet, and deeply umami flavors. It’s not an...

My wife and I tried Wonder Pho recently and honestly can't praise it enough, the food was amazing, served quickly and the waitresses were very friendly. We had Pho soup with mixed meats and Bun Hue soup with mixed meats and then shared Camfire beef with rice. The only remark from me was that I expected Pho to be a bit more intense in flavour, especially the rooty flavour in it but it was rather delicate. Still great though and my wife actually preferred that kind of Pho as opposed to the one we had eaten in the past which was stronger in taste. My soup Bun Hue was a killer, I absolutely loved it and guarantee I will come back for more! Menu says it's spicy but don't worry if you're not into spicy as it's very mildly hot, I had to add all fresh chillies to make it the level I like ;) We both really liked the small platters with herbs, chillis and fresh beansprouts that they serve separately for soups. That way you can just use what you like and as much as you like, also adjust the level of hotness easily. The last was beef in oyster sauce and I have to say I'd never eaten a similar flavoured dish, it was very strong but really interesting too. It wasn't like any oyster dish I'd eaten in the past. It was delicious though, I'd eat it again definitely.

In regards to jasmine tea I ordered, it was alright however please guys use loose tea instead of tea bags as it's so much tastier!

I asked the waitress how they pack the soups for takeaway and she put my mind at ease by saying that stock is packed separately to noodles and veggies so it's guaranteed the food will come nice, fresh and not soggy/overcooked when delivered home, so I will definitely order online too!

To summarize you can't fault these guys at all, amazing food, great service. Money well spent! Expect...

In my three years plus of coming to WonderPho I've always experienced pure happiness. The atmosphere, the music, the staff, the visitors from allover the world, the happy little mini humans, the streetfood vibes, the beautiful cuisine that doesn't cost nearly as much as I think it should, with beautiful touches of class/ genius from the food to the stunning wallpaper (actually from Vietnam too) makes this place unlike anywhere else on the planet. I've been around for half a century and nothing else comes close, this is my favourite place and always will be, and genuinely, the best memories of my life have been made in here. So people, not sure if you should visit or feel anxious because it's vietnamese, just relax this place is absolutely amazing and the menu is the only menu in the world where everything on it is my favourite (a genuine feat that amazes me 😳🤯😊) which is a genuine fact....😌🥲

...learned to use chopsticks in 6 different ways here😳, all hail the incredible patience of the staff which blows me away 😊, I met the most beautiful humans I've ever met in here some of whom I would actually adopt, and now the big one..... I conquered my "since birth" hate for coriander here... 🤭🌿

I'll just say it.....Wonder Pho, I love you "all of you" .....and Thank you for everything, genuinely Thank you 🥹😚💘

So other humans, do it, go to the Wonder Pho...

The food here is 5 star. As a table of 7 we sampled a variety of what was on the menu. 4 of us had Pho, and we're all in agreement that it was some of the best Pho we had ever had. In terms of starters, one of the group got through a sharing platter for 3 on their own. It was busy when we went, and despite having pre-booked, it was quite evident that a different group of 6 had been recently seated at our table, as there was only a table for 6 remaining for us (and a separate table for 2). We were moved to a table to accommodate all of us before the food arrived, but it spoiled the start of the meal. Due to the confusion, staff were also slow to take a drinks order. The staff were friendly, and I am sure that if you go when it is less busy the service would be fine. But, in this instance the service nudged the overall experience to a 4 star, rather than a 5 star review that the food really deserves.
