Read moreI only came across this pizza restaurant recently, and I'm glad I did! Situated in the beautiful Covered Market in Oxford, Sartorelli's offers a good amount of seats and a fair variety of pizza flavours to choose from. Being cooked in a wood fired oven, the pizza was light, crispy, and it tasted delicious! The fresh ingredients certainly make a difference to the taste. Whilst eating it, I couldn't help comparing it to other restaurants, and I must say that this is so far one of the best pizzas I have had in a while. Prices are reasonable, the service is quick, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. If you ever end up visiting Sartorelli's and have to queue, remember that good things come to those who wait!! They have a beautifully displayed mixed variety of...
Read moreMy quest for the best pizza in Oxford continues. Sartorelli’s is a small outlet in the Oxford covered market and hence has to cope with the limited opening hours allowed. This is a wood fired pizza and is cooked fast and furious. This makes it hard to juggle burnt to a crisp and raw. I had a calzone and it was slightly under done hence the four starts not five. It is a great option If you want an early dinner or lunch. Seating is mostly shared and you can get a drink from either the beer or wine shops next door. It has a nice atmosphere with sitting outside but still...
