I bought a drink to just sit down with for a few minutes before my next lecture and as soon I sat down with what I bought, one of the staff approached me and told me I couldn't be there and had to leave immediately and accused me of bringing in a packed lunch and sitting there to work?! (I sat down, put my bag down and opened my drink, I didn't even open my bag up or anything - perhaps she assumed just because I have a big backpack? but this is because I have to commute to university). RLB Café was originally named, Southside Café by the architects, because of the huge terrace out on the southside of the building to catch the Devon sunshine off the English Channel. The sun terrace is fitted with photovoltaic cells to power the lights in the café area.
