I don’t know where to start with this. Lol. Booked a table for my birthday on Saturday night at 7pm for 9 people. We were the only ones there the whole night, which may or may not have been a sign….. Arrived and had a fairly warm greeting from the only person we saw the whole time we were there (he may have been cooking our food too for all we know) Was told there was no alcohol, which is fine, went and brought our own from Tesco 2 doors down. They also have a list of lovely sounding mocktails, but were told they could only make mojitos 🤷‍♀️ Being a “grill” most of us wanted steak, and 4 of us chose the rib eye, but were told all they had were sirloins, bit disappointing. Starters were ok, but there was a mix up, it’s ok, it happens. Mains came, again there was a mix up, forgot a couple of sides. Everything looked really good and was piping hot, but steaks were over cooked (which might’ve been a good thing 😳) burgers were hit and miss, and there was no salt for the chips. We were asked if everything was ok, the man was super sweet, but it did seem like we were an inconvenience, especially when clearing away our plates, whilst people were still eating, and then grudgingly giving us one menu between us all when we asked to see the desserts Again some lovely looking sundaes, but when we started ordering, we were told all he could do was strawberry and vanilla ice cream. Despite a seemingly full freezer. We swiftly asked for the bill. Which was also wrong, but was amended. So with all this, and the filthy toilets, which an awful smell started coming from half way through the night, we left full, but bemused, tipsy from our Tesco wine, paranoid we would get food poisoning, and wondering if the whole place was a front for something dodgy, and why we left a tip 🙈 I would recommend for the experience, or if no other restaurant in Portsmouth was open. (We didn’t get food poisoning btw)

i came here with my parents, me and my mum had the same starter (the honey ribs) thinking that theyd be really juicy and delicious. my dad had onion bahjis (sorry for the misspell) and he said that his were okay. after a while the outside of them became hard and the inside did too, the ribs were a nightmare. they were hard to cut, chewy and barely anything on the bone. we left them. then, for main course, my dad had a vindaloo which he said was fine, and me and my mum had an 8oz sirloin steak (medium) with mushroom sauce and chips. my mums steak came well done and VERY chewy and mine came bloody yet still chewy? i had to spit parts out because i genuinely couldnt chew it. the chips were almost definitely frozen from farmfoods and all in all a disgrace. we left the plates with 9/10 of it still there, leaving hungry and with a ridiculous bill. (the manager gave 10% off because we complained to him) -side notes- the prices are genuinely crazy, our bill came to about 75? also, the manager hovers like crazy, every 2 minutes he would come over to us, asking how it was, asking about us, where we lived ect. when we told him the steaks were practically inedible, he asked if we wanted to take them home??? obviously not…. stay away from here unless you want to pay way too much for disgusting food.

Ordered a whole chicken. Received 2 portion of baby chicken. 235g & 250g. Called the resto & the staff was extremely rude. When I explained that this is way too small & not close to an average 'Whole chicken', he said that I should have ordered a turkey & will not refund. What a disgrace. Also, this is definitely not freshly cooked food. Microwaved on full blast for certain. Avoid at all cost. You can actually get that rotten smell...

Unfortunately would not recommend this place. Multiple problems with order: missed off a diet coke paid extra for salsa in burger, wasn't included wrap should have had hummus, wasn't included wrap had hairs on the salad

When we called to complain, the person didn't sound surprised and they would not offer any money back as the manager wasn't around and we were told he doesn't come in very often so wouldn't call us back. We didn't want the whole meal again as we were in the QA hospital and visiting hours were limited. Just really...
