This takeaway lied to say they are hmrc approved. Hmrc doesnt list them as halal at all. We questioned this and were told you can either buy what they have or leave as they will not clarify anything. We asked where they get their meat from. They said its halal and thats all we need to know. The stickers are on display etc. we told them hmrc hasnt approved them as we checked so the stickers are false. But if they are approved by any other halal monitoring body then thats fine but they said they dont have to explain themselves. The attitude was appalling and dismissive so we left and ordered our food elsewhere where the owners/staff can explain and verify where the meat comes from. As a consumer we should be allowed to ask basic questions re where the food we are being served is coming from. But this owner didnt want to answer any questions and lied about the halal status with hmrc which left us doubting its halal...

I placed a clear and concise phone call order for chicken tikka kobeda. I was told to wait for 25minutes so I collected the order after that. When I went home I saw that the order was shawarma and kobeda so I went to return. I went there and explained my situation however he accused me for placing an incorrect so I demanded to here the voice recording over the phone. On this he refused and I wasn’t even given a refund let alone an apology for messing up my order. I waited for so long and had to make a pointless journey for no reason only to be faced with a rather rude person. Ridiculous customer service! I understand mistakes happen however very rudely dealt with the situation whilst other customers present. I was shocked and appalled! I would not recommend whatsoever! For anybody placing an order over the phone please double check whilst you’re there! Not do they only accuse you for lying but deal...

Food is ok nothing special. But beware of this place i had been going to them for a few years and then all of a sudden i got parking fine. Luckily i had taken picture of the ticket on the tablet which i had inputted my car registration. I went belack to the takeaway and showed them the proof and they said its fine we'll get the ticket cancelled but they never done anything about it instead they have referred this to a solicitor. I have sent proof to their solicitor and my solicitor. Avoid this place. Dealing with this headache for no reason even though i have provided them proof of the ticket and it clearly mentions on the fine i left the premises before the...

Once the best place for Kobeda Kebab has gone down the hill big time. Service is awesome with friendly staff, atmosphere is ok as well but the food is not the same. The taste is kind of blend and meat taste wierd. The prices are ridiculously high, a larger kobeda kebab is £12-£14 which is too much. We ordered Large Special Sandos Kebab for £22 which wasn’t actually large enough. Order a kobeda wrap which my son left because of the wierd taste. On a positive side, plenty of parking at the back for free as long as you put your car registration number in the tablet inside the premises. Won’t be going anymore

My husband had been here back in December and really enjoyed what he had. He kept talking about Sandos and that he wanted to go back there when we travelled up North next. This experience was much different. The kobeda kebab and the fries were the highlight however the chicken tikka was below average and the calzone was very bland - tad undercooked too. The rice was way more bland. Had high hopes from all the recommendations and online reviews. Hopefully this was a one off.

Haven't been here in years! The Double Kobeda kebab was super tender and full of flavour. Good portion size. Red salted fries were decent. Spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. Service was quick. The price is reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food.
