They donāt provide breakdown of receipt to prove the missing items. We went a long distance from Oxford and placed the order for our house party and bought for Ā£57. The staffs who cleaned the fishes asked us to wait and given our order number 6. We paid and they gave a receipt with no list of items bought. Upon collection everything was in one bag and we got home and disappointed to see a kilo of fish missing from the order. We contacted the staff through their mobile and whatās app. They asked to send proof of purchase with pictures and we did. And they disappeared to respond. Finally upon chasing day after day the person told us that they only credit Ā£12. Although it was much more than that. We were not given the list of items on the bill to claim our exact amount as half the fish was missing. And we told them we live in Oxford and we canāt drive all the way just to get their Ā£12 credit and therefore told them at least to refund the money to our card. The staff there is extremely polite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The service is very fast. The fish there is always fresh and the prices are small (in fact the prices for fish are much cheaper than in any supermarket). The other big advantage of this fishmonger is that there is always a great variety of fish. As we all know there is not a big choice of fish in supermarkets (usually itās salmon, cod, haddock, seabass, canned tuna and if you are lucky you may find a little more). However in this store there is always a huge selection of fish.
