I recently visited Quality fish at Readingon September 9th, and I felt compelled to provide some feedback on my experience. While the quality of the fish I purchased was commendable and fresh, I must express my disappointment with the level of customer service I encountered. It is crucial for businesses to uphold a high standard of professionalism, particularly in their interactions with customers. During my visit, I observed a concerning lack of courtesy and professionalism among your staff. They appeared visibly frustrated and their behavior was discourteous, which left me with a less than satisfactory impression of your establishment. I believe that the success of any business is not solely dependent on the quality of its products but also on the quality of service provided to its customers. Therefore, I strongly encourage you to invest in training your staff to ensure that they represent your business in a positive and professional manner. Avoid at all cost. Fraudulent shop. Half the items were missing. They hidden some of our orders and refused to refund. They don’t provide breakdown of receipt to prove the missing items. We went a long distance from Oxford and placed the order for our house party and bought for £57. The staffs who cleaned the fishes asked us to wait and given our order number 6. We paid and they gave a receipt with no list of items bought. Upon collection everything was in one bag and we got home and disappointed to see a kilo of fish missing from the order. We contacted the staff through their mobile and what’s app. They asked to send proof of purchase with pictures and we did. And they disappeared to respond. Finally upon chasing day after day the person told us that they only credit £12. Although it was much more than that. We were not given the list of items on the bill to claim our exact amount as half the fish was missing. And we told them we live in Oxford and we can’t drive all the way just to get their £12 credit and therefore told them at least to refund the money to our card. I am a regular customer at “Reading Quality Fish” in Reading and what I can say is that I am very pleased with this fish shop, moreover I am a big fan of it because I like fish very much and this shop meets my requirements for 100%. The staff there is extremely polite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The service is very fast. The fish there is always fresh and the prices are small (in fact the prices for fish are much cheaper than in any supermarket). The other big advantage of this fishmonger is that there is always a great variety of fish. As we all know there is not a big choice of fish in supermarkets (usually it’s salmon, cod, haddock, seabass, canned tuna and if you are lucky you may find a little more). However in this store there is always a huge selection of fish. So if you are looking for a great fish shop where you can buy almost every kind of fish that you can imagine look no further than “Reading Quality Fish”.
