I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone who cannot wait for 1 hour 6 min just to receive your food. It was Boxing Day and the man who was taking out order was quite funny. We simply asked how long would it take to get our order and he answered in a sarcastic way with a smile there are people before you who have been waiting for more than half an hour after they get their food surely you will get yours. I didn’t like that attitude I felt it like he was telling us if you want to eat just eat if not you can go we don’t care attitude. It’s understandable they are getting people more than their capacity but at the end of the day we are not getting our food for free so that attitude isn’t acceptable. Don’t accept customer if you don’t have capacity and if you do then serve it properly. About the food I ordered vegetable pokhareli jhol momo and aalu nimkin which were below average. I would rather travel to aldershot then to eat here. I felt my Momo were too soggy and the soup were bland. My friend ordered Chicken jhol momo and the server came back and asked to change it as they ran out of chicken momo. It was changed to pork jhol momo and it was nothing but terribly spicy which will numb your mouth never again. Hope this review will help the owner to run the business as well as to the customer before they decide...
Read moreI recently visited Sapana House Restaurant in Reading with my partner over the weekend, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. Despite it being a busy weekend, the restaurant appeared severely understaffed. We had to wait an unacceptable 30 minutes just to receive the menus. Adding to our frustration, the male waiter attended to a table that arrived after us before finally approaching us with the menus.
The main source of our dissatisfaction was the extremely rude behavior of the male waiter serving us. Not only were our main courses served before our starters, but when we inquired about the missing starter, he responded from a distance instead of approaching our table. This lack of attentiveness and basic courtesy is inexcusable in any setting, especially in a hospitality environment.
On a positive note, the ladies working there were attentive and provided good service, and the food itself was commendable. However, the overall dining experience was tainted by the poor service and unprofessional behavior of the male waiter.
I strongly urge the management to ensure such grave mistakes are not repeated. Proper training and sufficient staffing, especially during peak times, are essential to provide the level of service customers expect...
Read moreWe had a disappointing experience at Sapana Home Reading due to extremely poor hospitality from one of the waiter. From the beginning, the service felt cold and inattentive. While we were giving our order, he abruptly turned to another table and started taking their order in the middle of our conversation, which felt very disrespectful. When our food was served, the waiter didn’t even make eye contact and say a simple “enjoy your meal” — it felt rushed and impersonal. To make things worse, our plates were taken away before we had even finished eating, without asking us if we were done. It was as if they were trying to rush us out. The lack of basic courtesy and attention to guests left a very negative impression. Dining out is not just about the food — it’s about the whole experience, and this kind of service makes it hard to return or recommend the place. I hope the management addresses this issue seriously. Sadly, this wasn’t our first time dealing with this waiter. On our previous visit, we had a similar unpleasant experience, and we gave the restaurant another chance thinking it might’ve been a one-off. But clearly, nothing...
